China Wok — Restaurant in South Carolina

First time there, probably the last. Ordered Chicken with Broccoli (spicy) & vegetable fried rice + a spring roll. It came out in timely manner (I was the only one there). However, I have to say it was the worst overall tasting C&B I have ever had. Maybe it was the vinegary hot sauce they added (rather than hot pepper oil, which I am used to) that made the whole thing watery and totally masked the taste of the C&B as it would have been - I don't know. The fried rice wasn't very tasty and was somewhat watery in itself. The spring roll was actually Ok. Regretfully, I did eat it all because I have a high tolerance for things not all that great in the name of not wasting. IF, I ever try it again, on the chance that it was all the hot sauce they dumped on it, I will definitely just get it non-spicy and see if that changes everything. The AMERICAN man has ruined my experience of ordering CHINESE FOOD!!! Always get delivery from here. I am in a wheelchair it's just easier for me to have it delivered. I told the man on the phone before he came now mind you I always get delivery from here that I only had a $100 bill I ordered $40 worth of food he kept saying when you order PIZZA 🍕 they don't take anything over a $20 bill well that's great but I'm not ordering Domino's Pizza I am trying to order Chinese food from a local mom-and-pop place that I always order from. Started with the barbecue spare ribs. They were like nothing I have ever had before. The red sauce was the same as the one you buy on the shelf in the grocery store and the ribs barely any meat on them. I then went on to try my beef and broccoli with pork fried rice. Absolutely no taste at all. The beef was so chewy I couldn’t eat it and the rice was like mush. I would never go there again and I would certainly not recommend them to any.
