We ordered the salted caramel pumpkin concrete through the drive thru. Recieved it and it was like milk, melted. Obviously wasn't a concrete nor a milkshake. Went inside and explained that my husband Ordered the salted caramel pumpkin concrete and we got something else instead, guessing it was supposed to be a milkshake, but again it was watery. The girl who took our order immediately got angry, raising her voice and saying that's not what my husband Ordered. Saying they didn't even have a salted caramel pumpkin concrete, that I ordered the milkshake. Saying I need to speak up and order correctly. I spoke up and said I was sitting next to him and heard him order the concrete, which you obviously offer since it's on the menu. The only other thing was a pumpkin spice milkshake, which I positively know he didn't order and even if he did I'd have still went inside because we got a fully melted shake. She continued being rude and repeatedly saying I was wrong. Workers were coming from the back to hear the commotion she was causing. I was not rude when I entered nor when I explained the mistake they had made. A different employee made the correct concrete and was whispering how sorry she was. Obviously the rude employee does this often as the apologetic employee wasn't even confident enough to Apologize loud enough for the rude employee to hear. None of the other 6 employees standing there said a word. I feel bad for the employees that have to work around that kind of environment. They weren't busy at all, maybe 5 dine in customers sitting and we were the only customers in drive thru. I don't understand what prompted the employee to become hostile...
Read moreWe have eaten at this restaurant several times. They always have a lot of staff standing around but at least they’re making the effort to have enough employees. Tonight we went to get a small custard after dinner elsewhere. My wife wanted the dark chocolate peanut butter crunch, which wasn’t the flavor of the day. The clerk said all we have is chocolate and vanilla and the mint chocolate chip ,the flavor of the day. Instead of saying, we also have add ins, etc. I was perturbed by theit attitude at the drive-through, and just wanted out of the line. So instead of waiting 10 minutes for their staff, which lacks any sense of urgency, to fill the orders of the cars in front of me , I made a u-turn through the other closed, drive-through line and removing the cone and putting it back. Then the manager came running out to tell us that she wasn’t responsible if we had an accident with an oncoming car, which there really wasn’t any danger of. we told her about our experience, and I said I would be responsible for any accidents. She told us that they could’ve had an ordered an. add-in for on their custard , but didn’t offer any remedies up. if you want to go to a place with a huge staff, and 10 of them are standing around, this is the place for you. no wonder they have lost a lot of their original business after...
Read moreWe spent 50 minutes in the drive thru tonight, with only 4 cars ahead of us and a half empty dining room. The girl taking money at the window had to be reminded to give us our drinks, my debit card back, and the order number tag for our car. Once we pulled up, we were stuck on the left lane against the restaurant with 2 cars in front of us, and 3 cars in the right lane. There is no third lane for traffic to move around and exit, like many other Culvers have. After receiving our food, we were stuck behind the 2 cars in front of us for an additional 20 minutes. A SUV to the right became so fed up they jumped the curb and drove off. The reason? The cashier didn't put tags on the 4 cars in front of us. Rather than ask the drivers who the food belonged to, we witnessed 4 different employees bring a bag outside, look for order number tags, and then go back inside. Finally, logic prevailed and the drivers went inside to pick up their food. While the food was delicious (albeit cold by the time we got home), I will never go through the drive-thru again if another lane...
