Stopped here last night after seeing overall general positive reviews on Facebook. Also, not many places to find sushi in the area so was excited to try it locally. I have to say, our waitress was very friendly, kept checking back to make sure we were happy and had all we needed. I'd say the only reason I have a 4 was due to the pricing. (If there wad a 4.5 I'd have chosen that) The price was a bit high for what my Mom received. She got the coconut shrimp, and for the size and amount received price was a bit high. But I tried them and they were very good, my Mom enjoyed them too but wished they had mentioned that the apricot dipping sauce was spicy as she is not a fan of spicy food, there weren't many other sauce options (though the waitress tried to offer all she had-tartar, ranch, cocktail sauce, etc) but none of those quite fit with coconut shrimp. Might want to get a non spicy dipping option for them. Really though, the flavor was good on their own. My Banana Amaretto Blended drink was tasty although didn't have much alcohol, but as we had just came from a wine tasting I didn't complain. I ordered one of the cucumber rolled sushi appetizers, which was very good, wish it could have been fresh crab instead of crab stick but that's common in sushi places. Also ordered a Speciality Sushi Roll, I have to say it was amazing. When I asked the waitress how many pieces came in the order she thought it was 8 or 10. I figured she was wrong as I've never gotten more than 8 pieces in most common sushi rolls, even specialty ones. I was surprised to recieve 12 pieces in my roll! I was pleasantly surprised and felt for the price it was definitely worth it for my dish. My cucumber roll appetizer was large as well and I couldn't finish both rolls - though I tried! This was our first visit and we will definitely think of coming back next year on our annual trip to Ocean Isle Beach. Oh, and those Hush puppies I see so many mixed reviews about? My Mom loves hush puppies, I usually find them bland and not worth it. But I have to say, I tried them and they came out hot, fresh, pretty darn tasty and the honey butter was a compliment to them. My Mom definitely approved.

The location and atmosphere were spot on for the restaurant. Parking was about 50 yards away, and for some reason, they had a tip bucket at the entrance to the park lot for the restaurant. We gave them a Jeep duck as a tip because we weren't sure what else they were expecting from their customers. You have the option to be seated indoors or outdoors, with additional seating on the roof or in a beer garden. We sat indoors with a decent view of the Intercoastal waterway. They sat us down and brought some hush puppy balls and cinnamon butter. These were a little oily from the deep fryer, however, they were sweet and tasted like little donuts. Still amazing hush puppies! We started off with a stuffed shrimp appetizer, which was great. I tried to cut them in half at first, but the stuffed crab fell off, so I ended up grabbing them by the tail and ate them whole. They were very good. I had the blackened chicken wrap with Caesar dressing and sweet potato fries (no up-charge for sweet potato fries). Both were very good, and I ended up taking some of the fries home because they gave me more than I could eat after munching on the hush puppies and shrimp. My wife ordered the salmon BLT with sweet potato waffle fries. The salmon was a large cut and grilled perfectly for her. She, too, was unable to finish her fries due to eating the hush puppies and a few pieces of stuffed shrimp. This was a great first-time experience, and we will definitely be returning.

I'll first start off saying the food is really good. The staff is working hard, and I think they're still trying to get it all figured out since they just reopened. The place looks really nice, and the staff is nice as well. However, I was set on getting steak, but unfortunately they let me know they can only serve it pretty much medium well/done as they have inspectors frequently stopping by, and don't want to get caught serving steaks medium rare. I've never heard of a place doing that, but it is what it is. Don't come here just yet for steak unless that's how you like it. I'm assuming once the inspectors stop frequenting by so much they'll lean up on that rule. We also had a couple dishes part of our meal not come out til we were all done eating, not the end of the world, but just again our thinking is that they're still trying to get the hang of things. - Food Recommendations - The food we got was delicious. The Crab cakes, fish bites, stuffed shrimp, all very very good, would get again. Fried tomatoes just okay from what I was told. I ended up getting sushi, the Buddah roll is very yummy! If you like sushi that is crunchy and doesn't have raw fish, that is the one to get. Overall I would come back here when we come back to Myrtle Beach. I'm sure all the kinks will be worked out then. Keep it up, staff, I know it's not an easy job, I hope other customers can see that before they want to leave a bad review.

Fairly disappointing experience from start to finish. Arrived early for our Mother's Day reservation as we had been on the dolphin cruise that is attached to the restaurant. We were told we couldn't be sat early despite a near empty restaurant and seeing other walk-in guests seated immediately. Decided to get a drink at the bar while we waited for our reservation time. I ordered an Old Fashion that was made completely wrong and was barely drinkable. I believe the bartender was new as he had to keep looking at the drink description while making it. Our reservation time comes and we make our way to the front of the restaurant. Another reservation party had just walked in and they were seated before us despite our having been waiting at the restaurant for half an hour for a table. Frustrating but we moved on. We had an okay view from our table and our waiter ended up being the bartender from earlier, he was friendly but definitely is not a good bartender- I ordered the seasonal margarita once seated and it was not mixed at all so the fruit puree was sitting at the bottom of the glass and was really hard to mix into the drink because of the ice on the glass. We ordered the conch fritters, stuffed shrimp, and hush puppies for our appetizers. The appetizers came out quickly- the conch fritters were very dark, almost burnt and parts of it were so hard that it was inedible. The stuffed shrimp were good but the hollandaise drizzle was definitely the same consistency as mayonnaise and you could tell it had been squirted from a squeeze bottle. The hush puppies were delicious but our bowl was full of pieces of hush puppies instead of whole ones, that was disappointing. For meals we ordered a crab cake sandwich with fries- the sandwich was enjoyed but the fries were quite salty, shrimp po boy with sweet potato waffle fries- both items were good, and finally an order of steamed clams and corn on the cob- the clams were very good as well as the corn, now corn on the cob isn't listed as a side but our waiter said it could be ordered, I assumed it would be $3 like all other sides but we were charged $4.50 for half an ear of corn! I really love the idea of doing the dolphin tour and having lunch at the same place but I just cannot recommend...

If I could given 0 stars I would. Our experience tonight was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. It started with it taking over an hour before we received any food, salad, soups or appetizers. We asked our server where our salads and appetizers were. She then said she would go check on them. After checking she finally started to bring out our food. We had a party of 15, seven of them 10 and under. They had very easy food items and most of our party got side salads soups and appetizers which did not come out first. Our waitress did not apologize for any of it. She only stated ‘well I can’t just go in the kitchen’. We then asked to speak to her manager, he did not come. We then asked to speak to the manager a second time when our food was still missing and wrong. We were missing simple items, such as soups and side salads. The waitress was neither remorseful or apologetic. When the manager came over he started with being defensive and not sincere with his apology. He never stated what he was going to do to rectify the situation. We told him we were still missing items and now our kids are crying and very hungry. At this point we wanted to leave. There was no fixing the situation. He eventually came back after 20 minutes with corrected bills and then had to remove the automatic gratuity that we refuse to pay for the terrible service. The bills were STILL wrong a second and it took another 20 minutes to fix the bills and actually pay. There were items on it that we didn’t even order or receive. We had now been there over two hours. The server stating at the end that she has 2 degrees in no way makes it acceptable for the type of service we were given. This was a terrible experience and I really hope this doesn’t happen to any one else. Heidi was our server and she should be in a...
