This spot is OK. Flavor is decent but quality felt low. 6.5/10. Personally, I won’t return, respectfully. Its restaurant has nice music and the waitresses are nice, but this place is a mess. 1) the booths are uncomfortable. Seats have been seated in so much that they don’t have anymore foam cushion and you can feel the springs when sitting. 2) there isn’t one dedicated waitress. I have 6 waitresses check up on me. I appreciate being checked on, but having three people ask me about my drink is not needed. 3) see the first photo. What is missing?… wasabi and ginger. Sushi Chef’s need to slow down and pay attention to details. I thought that the dish I ordered didn’t come with it, but then I saw other plates being sent out with it. Quite disappointing for me. 4) I gave them another shot and I ordered a salmon teriyaki roll. These sushi chefs need to do better!!! Look at how much rice to salmon there is. The rolls were all oddly shaped. The quality of rolls was disappointing. This spot is ok, but they can work on their quality control and it will be great! Perhaps I had a bad experience, but this is just my story.

Friends treated me to lunch here yesterday. Best choice for a lunch of Sushi and Japanese fare! I had the appetizer of Bang Bang Chicken, and a HWY 9 Roll. That was enough for two meals by itself! Presentation was spot on, and mouthwateringly delicious! Service was spectacular! Like any good Sushi place, you do not get everything at once, it is brought out as it is made. There was none of that only one server taking care of our table. Every server there was checking in with us all during our meal. My friend ordered the Sesame Chicken Bowl, and it was HUGE. Enough for 3 meals. Fresh green beans, perfectly seasoned chicken. The Decor is very Japanese. Bamboo rope braids holding the lights over the table were perfect! The only thing that was not authentically Japanese was the music playing. That was a little elevator music-y. Having soft Japanese instrumental music would have sent this place over the top! They also offered us To Go drinks at the end of our meal. Well Done, Konnichiwa! You're my new favorite Local Sushi Restaurant!

Came in about 7:30pm on a Monday with my guy. I can’t believe we haven’t tried this place yet! It’s beautiful inside, relaxing, very clean and just wonderful menu options! We had the salmon and tuna nigiri’s with edamame, miso soup and a large Kirin Ichiban draft and some Sho Chiku Bai nigori unfiltered sake. Extremely generous portions and it was so super fresh and delicious! I’m really picky about rice and it can be so easy to diminish an otherwise great dish if the rice isn’t done right. This place did not disappoint! I’m sorry I waited so long to come here and we will be back soon because this place is going into our regular rotation. Thanks for great food and service!

My family of 3 just left very disappointed. First we placed our drink order and the server was very rude taking our orders. We thought maybe she was new or just had a bad day like we all do sometimes so we just gave her the benefit of the doubt. Ordered a coke and it was diet, so we asked her if we can get another coke because it's diet and she started rolling her eyes at us and arguing with us that it's not a diet coke when indeed it was. Then we ordered our food, 2 rolls of sushi, side order of fried rice, and a medium rare steak bento box. The sushi came out almost immediately and I've never had sushi come out that fast and I got fried sushi and it came out very cold. Then we waited over an hour for the side order of rice and bento box and at that point we were ready to leave but we still sat there waiting for the food to come so we can pack it up and bring it home. The food from the bento box was cold but the steak was hot so they had just made that steak with the rest of our food sitting for over an hour. Keep in mind this place was not busy at all. A soup came with the bento box and the waitress said she would bring us a spoon right away, waited over an hour for a spoon and by that time the soup was cold. I had to get up and go ask someone else for one since we never seen our waitress again. Other people brought us our food except our waitress. She never came and checked to see if the food was good, never asked for refills, and didn't give us any napkins. The only time we seen her again was to get the check and I still tipped her 20 when she didn't do any work except for her coworkers who were bringing us everything. All she did was take our order, argue with us about coke, and gave a check but had a big smile on her face from the tip she recieved. All in all it's nothing to write home about, I hate Tokyo grill but there food is 100 times better than konichiwa. Just from the atmosphere, wait staff, and food, just awful all around and I don't think this place will stay in business long. Just super upset spent nearly 100 for food that I wouldn't even give...
