La Fogata Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in South Carolina

My husband and I was out trying this spot because a friend told us it was good. The food was dry. Plus the extra charges and the disrespectful sassyness I received. I didn't like at all. The waitress Arisa looks about 50 or up acting ghetto. They brought out dry shrimp tacos with no cheese. I asked the woman where was the cheese? She pointed to a black cup and a blue cup. I'm asking her what she was talking about my husband said she asking how much cheese I want , I pointed to blue cup. She act as if she didn't speak any English. Once the bill came out they charge you 2%more of your order amount for a card use which it doesn't say that in the restaurant at all. Regual price for card only then tried to charge me almost 3.00 for a small salsa container of shredded cheese. One thing your not about to do is get over on me. So I mentioned about the cheese charge. She started saying sorry out the blue but wasn't doing anything aboit it! So we asked another waitress for a supervisor. Our waitress got upset and came back to our table. So I asked to speak with a supervisor she said they didn't have one. Oh shes speaking perfectly english now!! So I told her I'm not paying for a charge we was unaware of. When she brought out tacos I immediately asked where's the cheese. She's the waitress she should've told me right then and there that the cheese cost. I wouldve just used my large queso I already ordered. She started yelling at me I asked her to lower her voice. She didn't she kept acting ghetto and told us nothing is free. As if all because we are black we are looking for a handout. Then she threatened to call the police on us . I told her call them. Because my food was still on the table they could've took my food back. Then she came back being funny saying she paid for my cheese smh! Any where I go I don't have these problems we eat at Mexican restaurants all the time they always tell us if things are extra and cheese actually comes with the tacos and not dry! We eat at red lobster more , where our food cost 3times this restaurant amount. And I leave great tips for great service. Don't do us as if we don't have it because we are black. So okay I decided due to my apartment being mess up & I have to stay in a hotel let me try the Mexican Restaurant by the room so last night I order the Shrimp Tacos which comes with rice lettuce guacamole tomatoes for you to put on your taco as well as sour cream. Last night my order came up to $14.30 so today I said I wanted the same thing even though I skip lunch went in the establishment lady walk up order the same exact thing orders comes up to $15.03 I gave her 5 in cash & my card she kept saying the card decline as if English was not my first language she never put the 5 dollar amount she realize she didn’t now here we are with a 10.03 balance left she still saying the card decline finally calls a manager to help he still confuse at this point I am frustrated cause I have money. So after 10 mins they finally get the card to go through however when she brings the order their is no sour cream which I received last night on my meal they told me it was extra finally after I sat their & they gave me the sour cream. At this point I will never go back maybe at night however if they are working I will not go...

Would definitely give this place a 2 star rating, but since the food was delicious - I'll rate it a 3. My boyfriend and I decided to dine in today and ordered 2 small margaritas and once we got them and tasted them, you couldn't even taste the "house tequila" in them at all. So we told our waiter and he simply decides to shrug his shoulders and proceeded to say, "we can add another shot in it for $4" and for $4 just for an extra shot - we asked him to take the drinks off and we would just order sweet tea. So he then says something along the lines like it was too late and we are stuck with paying for the drinks that we were not pleased with so at this point I'm frustrated and so is my boyfriend so we asked to speak with the manager and the waiter says there isn't a manager.
