Hard to rate this because I've been going here after work for a year and never had a problem. Today was def weird- both with the food and the new girl working (chunky bright eyeshadow) was not just inexperienced but in rude/brash way.
Besides the attitudes, the food was dry and sparse. I found it kind of funny bc we are definitely living in a time of scarcity with tariffs, and I was hoping not to see/yet expecting changes, but I didn't expect to be denied, of all things- lettuce. (plus everything else).
Lettuce!!!??!!!
I always order a veggie burrito, it always has a good amount of lettuce. If lettuce is an issue, you should tell the customer up front...
I started, per usual, requesting lettuce/kale mix but the girl was kinda confused- she was shaking her head at me, and questioning me "lettuce? You want lettuce? Like... first?" ... LOL YES. No kale/I didn't push it given the amount of confusion around just lettuce.
Ms. Eyeshadow gave me a neat little layer of ten pieces of lettuce. Then everything else was just lightly sprinkled on.
I was looking at this meager little burrito and thinking the problem is there is hardly any lettuce, so I asked for more. Ms.Eyeshadow rolled her brightly painted eyes with a little chuckle and then bluntly told me "no". I was kind of confused, asked again, and she was shaking her head, "there is no more lettuce".
Imagine me, I'm not a karen and I'm not even someone who asserts themselves, but, I'm being told there is no lettuce, WHILE LOOKING AT A BOX OF LETTUCE.
I tried a different approach "you know, the green leafy stuff right there... more of that". She gave me a more defiant "no"!.
Finally another employee cand over and told me: no more lettuce, because there's a shortage and they have other orders to fill with the last of the lettuce.
My desire for lettuce is like George Costanza's desire for more soup.
So again, why wasn't this addressed before to spare me from the ridiculousness!!
The batty looks from this new girl started when I came in the door and I began to wonder if it's because she looked at me and could tell I was a dreaded lettuce hoarding vegetarian.
I expected this with the dang guacamole and not shocking that instead of the usual dollop, I got a smear from one leveled off spoon. The burrito was small but the girl didn't know how to wrap it, (or didn't care to), and I was just so exhausted after working to argue it, or anything else. Like yea whatever, put it in a bowl.
Last burritos have been three times the size and the usually employees never had a problem, but I think something was wrong with the burrito itself that made it harder to wrap because it was dryyyyyyyyy.
At the register she kept mumbling and I asked for a drink a few times before giving up. I don't know if she was chatting away on a hidden bluetooth speaker phone, I almost asked but i wanted to GTFO.
As I was feeling down about having such bad service and wondering what it was about me- another customer came up and asked to speak to the manager and the girl's response - LMAO - "Ohhh nooo, you want to speak to the manager?? Sounds like troubleeee."
Even if this has just been some odd day food wise, I won't be going back, because I don't want to deal with a person like that!!
I'll check back in a few months to see if she is...
Read moreWhat has happened to this location? Something about the upper management has made this our favorite Chipotle store (half a year ago and earlier) to the worse one (since something shifted).
It used to be that we can ask for an extra two sour cream but now they are limited to one. And what they give doesn't even get half way full. The guacamole given isn't full and have large portions missing. If I try to ask for a little extra fajita veggies and other sides for my salad and there seems to be a very stingy approach to not give much. I feel like I'm going to some cheap fast food place like Taco Bell. The somewhat more premium feel I have of Chipotle is gone as this chain is nickle and diming their customers. I used to feel happy going to Chipotle knowing I'm being taken care of with some openness and generous of portions (of the sides/sauces when I get a salad). You might save a few cents, maybe a quarter by giving me a little less sour cream but you've lost a lot of business (hundreds of dollars) in being so cheap as it has made our family who would visit at least a few times a week not want to eat there.
I want to be clear that the servers aren't the issue but it seems like they are limited in what they can do from something in the management. At this rate this store will lose customers, at least faithful ones, our family being...
Read moreI would not recommend ordering on the app and then picking the order up at this location. If you’re going to eat here, you need to go inside and order to make sure they are not out of ingredients. They are often out of items and once you have paid on the app, especially if you are using rewards for an item, there is no refund if the item is out of stock. There is no refund period inside the store if you order on the app. This usually happens with chips. Tonight I ordered on the app and the guy working the counter stated they were out of chips (as usual) and that they were out of other things as well. He stated that if something was not in the order then they were out of it. I did not realize exactly what this meant until I got home with the order and realized they gave us tacos with just the steak and a spoonful of rice, and a soggy bowl of rice, sour cream and a small amount of beans and shredded cheese. This was just like a boat of sour cream rice soup and I had to throw the entire order into the trash. This was at 10:00 pm, which is indeed later in the day, however this store does not close until 11:00 pm. Either way, I probably won’t return to this location, despite it being...
