Waffle House — Restaurant in South Carolina

I come to this location all the time, especially with my little one. I just went there around 9p to get an all star. I got home, showered, and ready to eat when I noticed my waffle wasn’t in my bag. I went back and the server asked to see my receipt. I showed her and they made a new waffle. I got one of the cook’s attention. She looked and me and said “what?!” Then, she said,” Can you get the customer a the register” so I asked the server for another waffle for the inconvenience. She said no, ask the management in the morning. My thing is, I done got out into the cold again, drove across town again, and came in with my hair rollers in all to come pick up food that should have been prepared the first time. Waffle house is something that the basic human mind could never understand or shall I say dare to comprehend, the food I get served to me by faces of pure smiles and they commentary that is communicated between the customers and the workers is just amazing they treat you more than like family, And do not get me started with the atmosphere to be able to see old photos of the Waffle House when they should be in a museum treated like art, and the wonderful way how you have the possibility to see the chefs cook your food to perfection without a single error, and to be able to get up and you select and play any music of your choice within the jukebox, for anyone who has the idea on heading to this fine establishment go for it shall be more than an idea, it should be...

I must say out of ALL the waffle houses I've gone too in the 2 yrs living here in South Carolina I can finally say I've gone to a CLEAN, GOOD FRIENDLY waffle house. And they didn't forget to give me my waffle. The food was fresh, good & staff was awesome. From the moment I was walking in the waitress was getting in as well for her shift & she greeted me from outside. I was happy trust me I swore off waffle houses. The only negative is I had to send my eggs back 3 times but the PLUS IS THEY DIDNT COMPLAIN at least not in my face like others do. From start to finish definitely was worth the 45min drive. If & when O want waffle house I WILL take the 45min drive each time for sure. It's amazing what a friendly attitude & atmosphere will do...
