While the younger bartender is amazing, I’ve been here a few times and just had a corporate party. We rented the brewery from 7-10. At 7:15 food came out, great timing but it wasn’t enough for everyone. When I approached one of the owners and asked if there was more food she said she couldn’t make the oven cook any faster.
I waited, and at 8:10 I asked again the owner again, explaining only half our guests ate. She replied, “I’m a bartender, can I get you a drink”
When I approached her husband and tried to explain that half of our people hadn’t eaten he asked me to step to the side, obviously upset. When I tried to explain he stated using large hand gestures and several of the people in the party had to step him and ask him not to talk to me like that.
I work in the service industry and when we have an issue the first thing I do is admit fault, apologize and try to put something to eat in front of the customer.
This was extremely unprofessional. I use to attend this place regularly but it looks like the newer ownership doesn’t understand the concept of professionalism.
My husbands company attending the party, was excited to come to the venue and were extremely...
Read moreCame for music bingo. Driving cross country. We don’t drink but most breweries have good food and a nice vibe, people our age, etc. besides NA is a thing now and there are some pretty decent products now. Except in the South apparently? Or at least according to the bar flies by the door. When I inquired about NA beer the host responded condescendingly something about not being a quitter no matter how bad things get…then I had to fend off jokes about O’douls. This all disregards the fact that there are other reasons than alcoholism that someone might be sober, you know, occupation stuff like sports or bodybuilding, medical conditions, pregnancy, religion (figured the last one would be well know in the a region full of Baptists, but I digress) Anywho no biggie. We went next door to Buddies, got a delicious burger and, what do ya know, Buddy’s sell Athletic NA IPA Sorry to say we did not feel welcome even though music...
Read moreStopped by on a Sunday because the brunch menu sounded pretty good. Beer was OK, but it is overpriced for what it is (compared to many other breweries). I drank three beers (an IPA, brown ale, and a nitro stout); I must say that none stood out as being better than the other...
Here's the kicker - our $67 bill came, our card was given, and when the receipt came for us to sign, the charge was about $4 more. I asked the server, and she apologized and stated the new GM is adding a surcharge for plastic. Yes, this was stated at the bottom of the initial bill, but who reads the traditional junk at the bottom of a bill in the restaurant? If you are giving a cash discount, then it should be stated on the menu (which it isn't, at least on the brunch menu)!
Due to the beer being mediocre and the "hidden fee", it is very unlikely I'll be back, nor would I reccomend this brewery to anyone. I'll stick...
