Ashley Store — Local services in Florence

I bought a couch, love seat, recliner, and coffee table from Ashley furniture a few years ago. The couch and recliner broke and they couldn't fix it so instead they offered a reselect for the furniture. The reselect is a rip off and they only offered it because of the extended warranty that we had purchased . They don't tell you that the reselect furniture has to be more then the reselect price that they give you and it can't be on sale and it has to be the same pieces. We bought reclining furniture on sale and we wanted reclining furniture again but since we couldn't buy on sale prices we had to pay full price for it and ended up taking out another Ashley furniture credit card to pay for it. Then that furniture begin to break after just a couple of months. It's cheap furniture but yet I'm still paying on it and they refuse to fix it with the extra extended warrantee that I had to purchase for the reselect furniture. Apparently the reselect furniture does not come with the manufactures warranty and if they were to fix it then that would use up the extended warranty. So now we are stuck with crappy furniture where the wooden frames of the furniture stick into your back so you have to have all of these extra pillows around you just to be comfortable. And I'm still paying it off. It's a waste of time and money. The salesman was nice, but they get paid commission. The delivery guys were nice also. The warehouse people are terrible and the warranties are worthless. I will never purchase anything from...

Today, I decided to stop by Ashley's Furniture store to look around and be inspired by some much-needed home improvements. When I walked in, I had no idea that I would meet such an amazing soul as Deanna Woodbery. We started with small talk, and I quickly told her I was not there to purchase anything; I simply wanted to see their sectionals instead of being turned off by my somewhat stern exterior; she smiled and began to put forth some of the best customer services I've seen in years. Deanna was able to use plain talk (honest dialogue)to calm my nerves because, frankly, I had a fear of being told "no." She quickly shared the options available for purchasing furniture and said, give it a chance, so I completed the paperwork, and low and behold; I was approved for much more than I expected. I don't have bad credit, but no credit, which I feared no one would give me a chance, and Ashley's did with the help of a salesperson that knows how to make people feel important. Deanna gets a five-star review because she deserves it and so much more. I'm excited and looking forward to coming back someday and purchase again. I've already shared my experience with my family and some friends, and they will be looking for Deanna Woodberry when their furniture needs arise. Matthew Brown gave AMAZING customer service!!! I was overwhelmed and undecided on living room furniture and this was keeping my family from being able to move into our new home because we needed furniture for our living room before moving in. I took many measurements and brought them with me and with the little living room space I had to work with made picking furniture out stressful. Matthew understood this and went above and beyond to help us make sure we’d be happy with the furniture we were going to purchase so after going to him for a third time to get help figuring out what would work he said let’s just go to the house and let me see the space you have to work with. After going to the house (which blew my mind he was willing to go out of his way and do this) he then suggested a living room set that was perfect for our home. Matthew Brown is AMAZING and I would recommend EVERYONE see him. He cared and knew how important it was for us to get furniture picked out so we could move in and enjoy our new home.
