Tasty Crab House — Restaurant in Florence

I'll give 3 stars because they rocked it the first time but the 2nd time I tried this place is what turned me off. I ordered over $40 of food when I came in & then less than 10 mins, they brought out my food. I thought it was pretty quick but I took the food and headed back home (which was 30 mins away from this place). I noticed my crab legs were a little dark and the shrimp wasn't as tender as it was before but I continued to eat anyway, big mistake. Later that night I got very sick and ended up pulling over as I was driving just to v**. I spent the rest of the night in the bathroom. I took some otc medicine that I already had and within 2 days I was feeling better. I've never had food poison before, so I didn't think to go to the hospital to confirm if that was what I had. I did talk to the manager and all he offered was a 10% discount. I just told him to make sure his employees are properly cooking the food & keeping an eye on how long the food is sitting out. I wasn't rude about it because the manager was nice but a 10% discount on my next visit definitely wasn't enough after spending over $40 for a boil bag and other items. Please be careful...

Pricey fresh and delicious 1st class taste! Atmosphere is Cozy family decor, classic crab house look. Asian & Southern Country Fusion. Simple non-paper plates & napkins, plastic utensils, paper cups, plastic straws. . Great food! Come for that... the food! Fresh! Seafood, not just fish...

Mussels (1lb.) served on 1/2 shell, we chose Cajun spice, super tasty13, plenty to share $15 incl. Side potato (small red) & half ear corn.

Calabash Oysters lg (8) Tender Juicy, delicious, as good as breaded oysters get! Choice of side, we got Sweet Potatoes (BYO sugar and cinnamon) served plain & good. $13

Calamari (10 pieces) , tender, with light crispy Calabash breading. If you like Calamari, like I do, you'll love 'em. Basket & side (we got Cajun Fries, very lightly seasoned: ask for more spice... I will next time) $10 Diabetics: Pepsi products including Dt Mt Dew!

Waitress was friendly, quick and attentive... easy going!

I can say that we're excited about this new Crab House! One Pound is definitely sharable, sides too. Took stuff...

So I go here for lunch. I take off my glasses to eat, eat pay and leave. I forget my glasses pull off. Remember I had my glasses, go back ask my waiter he doesn’t see them. So he basically balls up the paper and didn’t even check. He also balled up his tip because it was there by my glasses. I ask to look at the video of when I came in to make sure I had them on. I wait over an hour for the owner. Ok cool he shows me and tell me yeah he wrap it up in the paper without checking. He also tells me if I want money for my glasses I have to do a law suit then proceeds to give me a 20.00 grift card. My food was more than that and my glasses are over 300.00. And you give me a 20.00 gift card. Smh I will never go back there and make sure anyone that I know won’t go there either. So disappointed yes I forgot my glasses but he the waiter would have cleaned the table he would have gotten his tip and seen my glasses being the glasses was with the tip. Never again oh let’s not forget there was a fly in my beer and they removed it from my tab. Smh save your coins there are better places and I just moved here...
