Hobby Lobby — Local services in Florence

If I could give NEGATIVE 🌟 I would! Alexis was my cashier. I politely engaged as she rang my BIG (for me) purchase. I nicely asked if she'd make sure all were indeed sale items, as they we marked, bc I can't afford NON sale items! 1st was NO reply. I asked again & got a SNAP "if it says sale...it's sale!" Umm..Ok. NO! NOT true! When 1 sign covers an entire row, non sale items end up misplaced! When i came up she was talking to who I later learned was her work bestie, Taylor (cust srvc mgr). She cont talking to her as I TRIED to keep my order in check. But since i couldnt see the tally i had to keep asking. Her attitude was ATROCIOUS & kept getting WORSE!!! I finally said..."do you dislike your job or just ME?" She cracked her gum, looked at Taylor & rolled her eyes. Taylor laughed. Again, I asked "what did I do to you!" That too was Ignored. She has 20x to make this crapshow right AMD the mgr Taylor had the same to step in!!! Finally I said "Keep it! Refund my $175" Her buddy Taylor refunded it w/the SAME attitude! I said "you can't even apologize ON BEHALF of HL? Geez.. You don't even havta MEAN IT!!" She said..."Ma'am; I'm not done w/your return yet!" 🤯 MY partner stood in the exit & I said "it's getting WORSE!" For the 2nd x she said "Ma'am, I'm not done w/ur return yet. (WHAT TH..?¿??.) She ended w/THE MOST SARCASTIC "I apologize for your PROBLEM. Have a nice day." MY PROBLEM???? OK.. yall, I make jewelry so my budget is TIGHT! I now live where HL is my ONLY brick & mortar store & every so often I NEED a store. Like that Friday when Farmers Market was Sat! An associate named Ms. Jan was seeing ppl out at close & when she asked "Baby. Are you ok?" I BROKE DOWN! Poor lady! I spilled it on her and she was doing her best to console AND try to represent HL! I said " NO MA'AM! I can't enter the Farmers Mrkt tmro bc I don't have supplies to make items....; so on... She was joined by Ms Christine, also a Cust srvc Mgr. BOTH were SO EMPATHETIC& did EVERYTHING they possibly could do to right what i could see on their faces WAS NOT a 1st x situation. They urged me to call GM Michael the next AM. I thanked them hugged them, lol, & left. I did & Michael was NObbetter than Alexis & Taylor! He said "Ill review the tapes." I IMPLORED that Im losing a Farmers Market tmro AND I didnt deserve to be treated that way PERIOD! Also i have to make a 2 hr trip to the nearest Micjaels. He said "Well, you shouldve just boughtthe items if the Farmers Market was so important.!" Also, I've heard NOTHING back & when i try calling him.we get "disconnected" the SECOND he hears my name! HL is SUPPOSED to be SO Christian principled! HA!!! They're ANTI CHRISTIAN & it's NOT ONLY MY OPINION! BLESSINGS TO JAN & CHRISTINE @ HL, Florence SC. But Taylor, Alexis & Michael can EAT DIRT! Yes ..I called HL HQ...& NOTHING came of that either! But I WILL post & repost this every place that matters! I was treated like TRASH and EVEN WORSE....IGNORED by HL on the higher level. That's NOT okay to do to me & I have a pretty thick skin. Just imagine what it does to OTHERS...like those who struggle to speak up for themselves or fear confrontation on any level. Those women did that because THEY COULD! ITS NOT THE 1ST NOR THE 50TH & ITS HAPPENING AS WE "SPEAK." Oh...sorry. Not today. It's Sunday. They're closed bc "it's the Lords day!" HA! Fyi....In NO WAY am I mocking "the Lord's Day!" Its is they who are mocking everything Hobby Lobby PRETENDS to stand for! And HL is as well just for condoning it. Happy Day All....sorry for all the negativity I just threw on you! I just hope to help 1 person avoid the experience I had. Godspeed....

Hobby Lobby used to be the best! Great prices, great selection, AND great employees! Now, the employees that used to work there seem to have all disappeared with a new staff, who don’t seem to actually want To be there. The cashiers used to talk to you, help you out patiently and answered any questions kindly. Now, the past couple times I’ve been, the cashiers don’t speak unless they have to and don’t want to answer any questions. You get the feeling that you are bothering them just by being in their line. This is not just one cashier, this has been several. I’ve intentionally gone to a different one each time I go. I HATE people that work in a customer service job and have to deal with people when they aren’t, by any means, people-person(s). I used to give Hobby Lobby in Florence a four or five star anytime I left a review, now a two is the best I can give. Bc as much money as I’ve spent there (I used to go at least three times a week and bought ALL presents from there) and as much time as I spent there, I always had a great experience. Now I don’t go unless I have to and when I do I try to get in and out of the line as fast as possible, bc I don’t want to deal with the cashiers who don’t seem to have a personality or a friendly face. You can do better Hobby Lobby! I don’t know what’s changed..but please,...

Great Hobby and Craft store. Anything from sewing, scrapbooking, airplane models, trains, and others. Picture frames of all sizes, posterboard frames and shadow boxes. They have great sells sometimes if 50% off, and every week coupons 40%off. Lots of scrapbooking single sheets of pattern paper and solids. Have an array of many colors in cardstock. Has party supplies and decorations, card making, line of ready made cards, wrapping paper, cake decorating and supplies. If you want Christmas cards, wrapping paper, bags, ribbons, they have them 50% off this week. Look I'm ng for wedding supplies they have an area in the store for wedding supplies. They have lots of yarn in a variety of colors. Go take a look, download their coupon, or load their app to get all the deals they...
