Wow, what an unexpectedly delightful experience at Manny's Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the charming Brittany, who exuded a friendly and bubbly personality that instantly set the tone for our visit. She graciously introduced us to the menu and even highlighted their tempting lunch special.
On this fine Tuesday, we decided to venture into the unknown and try the Baked Ziti with meat sauce, priced at a mere $7.99, which turned out to be a true culinary gem. The side salad that accompanied it was a pleasant surprise, boasting an abundance of fresh tomatoes, onions, green peppers, and cucumbers. It was far more generous than we expected.
Now, let's talk about that Baked Ziti. It arrived at our table piping hot and simply perfect, adorned with garlic toast cooked to mouthwatering perfection. Every bite was a savory delight that left us craving more.
But wait, the culinary adventure didn't end there. Brittany, our wonderful guide through this meal, couldn't resist tempting us with their homemade desserts. We succumbed to the allure of cheesecake topped with blueberries and a luscious caramel drizzle. To say it was good would be an understatement—it was a slice of heaven. And speaking of slices, it was an oversized one, ensuring we left with smiles on our faces.
Brittany went above and beyond by preparing two to-go drinks without us even needing to ask, showcasing the outstanding service that sets Manny's apart.
In summary, our first impressions of Manny's Restaurant were nothing short of terrific. The only downside? Returning to work after such a delightful meal had us yearning for an afternoon nap! We will undoubtedly be back to savor more of Manny's delectable offerings. Bravo, Manny's, for creating an experience that truly exceeded our...
Read moreVery pleasantly surprised. We started with the fried dill pickle appetizer and my wife and I were both instantly impressed. They appeared to be freshly battered in house. They were hot and crisp and the pickle inside still had a bite to it. The pickles also lacked excessive grease and oil wich was refreshing to say the least. They were some of, if not, the best fried pickles I have had anywhere. We also ordered a special which included a Pizza and "JUMBO" wings lol, NOT jumbo, not even close, but wait it's just a sign of the times right now in this post "RONA" economy. The wings were small yes, but the bones were too and incredibly were pretty meaty. The honey BBQ sauce was awesome and the blue cheese and ranch dressings are really really good. So good we asked if they were made in house and sure enough the answer was yes. They even shared the basic recipe which starts with real buttermilk. Now for the best part overall, the pizza. Wow, I was very pleased. They use very fresh ingredients and they use above average to premium meats and cheeses. They bake the pizza on a two layer pizza pan regular round pan with a perforated screen grate that allows for the crust to get cooked all the way across the bottom of the pizza to the center, no raw dough here just a perfectly crisp and flakey crust loaded with quality toppings. This was our first visit to Manny's and we were well satisfied and have plenty of pizza left over for another meal. Although this is not in my home area, I wouldn't hesitate to take the extra time to go back. I am already looking forward to taking friends and family to share...
Read moreAfter eating maybe half of our food we noticed a large hair (it was baked into the food and when it was pulled out it was long), my friend had to go to the bathroom it made him so sick. Needless to say we didn’t finish our food. The one star doesn’t even come from the hair in food, but from the way the manager acted once we told him. The bald “manager” is the one we spoke with and he had such a nasty attitude about it, saying it’s a family owned business (okay and? Because it’s a family owned business it’s okay to have hair in my food??). He didn’t want to refund us anything(almost a $50 bill for us not even being able to eat all of our food or take leftovers home. The hair was only on one plate, but would you be able to eat your food after seeing hair literally baked into your friends food? What’s stopping me from believing there is hair in my food as well? Overall I’m grossed out by the hair and the managers attitude and won’t be returning. It’s a shame since I love supporting family owned businesses, but not when they are that rude and refuse to accept when something was done wrong on their part. He was more worried about getting his money than having a returning customer🤷🏼♀️ tip of the day: don’t try and charge customers for food with BAKED...
