I had an absolutely terrible experience at Marcos on Hard Scrabble. On May 9, 2025, at 10:25 PM, I placed a delivery order for a Medium Deluxe pizza with double Italian sausage and pineapple on a thin crust. My order number was 354. To my dismay, when the pizza arrived, it was not what I had ordered.
I quickly called the store and spoke to a man who seemed to take his job very lightly. He was laughing and joking around instead of addressing my issue seriously. I explained that my order was incorrect, but he insisted that he had prepared it himself and claimed it was the right pizza. I expressed my frustration and requested a refund, asking them to pick up the incorrect pizza. He informed me that the delivery driver had already gone home for the night and that I would need to come to the store to return the pizza for a refund.
I complied and brought the pizza back to the store, where I showed the man that it was indeed the wrong order. Instead of acknowledging my concern, he dismissed me and continued to gaslight the situation. I asked once more for my refund, but to no avail. Eventually, he contacted his manager and explained the situation while still insisting there was nothing wrong with the pizza. He mentioned that we needed a refund but didn't know how to process it.
After a few minutes, the manager said she had canceled the order and that my money should be back on my card within about 36 hours. When I checked my account, there was no pending transaction. I then asked for some form of confirmation, like a receipt, but the manager told her employee that there was nothing she could provide to prove the cancellation.
The employee, who was on a cell phone call with the manager, was asked to request a screenshot of the cancellation, but she refused. I then suggested that he ask her to send an email, which was also denied. Instead, she instructed him to call the police on us. I asked the employee for her name, but he acted as if he couldn't disclose it. While still on the phone with the manager, he asked for permission to share her name, but she simply hung up.
This entire ordeal was incredibly frustrating and stressful, and I will not be ordering from this location again due to their unprofessionalism. The manager seemed completely indifferent to the distress of both her employee and the customers. I will be sharing my experience to warn others about this unpleasant situation. I order delivery on 12/30/23 and the delivery drive for them stole money out my banking account. He put at tip on the receipt without my permission. I have been trying to get this issue resolved but it is always lies when I call. I talked to the manager first and she said that they was going to refund me my money for the order which was $80.42 that was taken out my account for a order that was $60+ dollars. I waited but nothing happened so I called back and the GM Sabrina told me that the order was not voided but she will take care of it right then. So I waited again. I called today and spoke to the GM again and she told me that it wasn't voided that who ever I spoke to must have forgotten to do it, but it was her that I spoke to and then she said it must have been a glitch in the system. Read moreThe customer service is horrible. I talked too three girls until finally I talked too the manager who couldn't believe that the three employees thought they didn't deliver to where I live. I have had delivery from them around six other times before and my neighbors have delivery from them all the time. It's not that hard to figure out that you do or do not deliver somewhere and they obviously do deliver in my neighborhood. The people are rude inside and on the phone. The sauce is bland, the cheese is like rubber, and the crust is too much. I've had Marcos probably ten times and I just hate it. The salads are good, but that's it. Even their cheesy bread is just bread with sprinkles of cheese on it. WAY over priced. Every single time I ordered here they got the order wrong. All of their delivery boys are extremely rude except for two, Hunter and Logan.
