Placed a mobil order at 1159 from the parking lot. Around 1206, I noticed it was marked ready for pick up. So I walked inside and waited at the register to let the staff know I was here to pick up. It was definitely lunchtime because the staff was running around and left me standing there for quite a while. Eventually, a staff member let me know that they were working on the order. While waiting, multiple people were able to walk in, order from the kiosk, and leave with their food while I waited. I received my food from the same staff member at 1225. Keep in mind, they were extremely busy, and maybe 26 minutes isn't crazy to wait for a meal for 4 people. However, when I got home and started pulling food from the bag, I realized I was short an entire 20 nuggets. Not knowing what I was supposed to do, I used Google to find an answer. Which is to call the store the shortage occurred at. So I called the location at 1247, which was left to ring until I grew impatient and hung the phone up. No one in my house was left hungry, but I still paid for 20 nuggets that I never received. I realize that it was a busy time, the staff was working very hard, and I should have checked before leaving. However, I don't feel that any of that makes it right. Unlikely to return to this location, and this is just my experience....
Read moreWhat can I say ? Sometimes it is good and sometimes it is bad. They most of the time get special orders wrong and then act like you the one responsible. One major continuing problem is evening shift when me and my husband go to get coffee. One of the young ladies continually tells us to wait for fresh coffee but gives us old coffee with no sugar only cream. This is after telling them to put it in. She has to be doing it on purpose by now. Try calling the establishment only not to get an answer or pick up and then hanged up on last time. Then they got the nerve to block the number. All they had to do is answer the call, SMHđ¤Śđ Managers I have encountered here are nice, but obviously they do not tell them to answer the phone. Just wanted to let them know the coffee was messed up and could I get a redo in the morning. The thing is you never know why someone is calling...it could of been something to help them... responsible adults need to be hired. Clemson Road is the best McDonald's in the Columbia area I have gone to so far. Not saying this one is terrible đ It is according to the shift that is on that day. Consistency is key however when giving people good food. So how can you improve if you do not answer the phone to take constructive criticism or maybe...
Read moreThis was my first time coming back to this McDonaldâs in a while, and I walked in hoping for a smooth experience. While the food was fine, the way the front counter employee spoke to me felt rude and unnecessary. Iâve interacted with her before and sheâs usually kind, but today caught me off guard.
I understand that McDonaldâs crew members in the Midlands area donât get paid enough â $12 or $13 an hour at most â and that stress can build up. But that doesnât make it okay to speak to customers disrespectfully.
Iâll admit, in the past I mightâve come off the wrong way to this same employee, and Iâve been doing my best to grow from that. I didnât walk in today with an attitude. I was hoping to just get my food and go. But the way I was treated reminded me why I stopped coming.
Everyone deserves kindness â workers and customers. Iâm not here to attack anyone. I just want my experience to be acknowledged, because I donât think respect should...
