Absolutely floored about my most recent interaction here. This is the closest McDonald’s and I visit here frequently enough to have some members of staff recognize me by face and some by name. Today I went through the drive through to place my order, had no issues with placing the order or wait times. However I requested sauce when I ordered. The sauce wasn’t placed in the bag, which isn’t an issue. I drove around because there were already people at the window behind me. Went to the front door, locked. There were still customers inside. Myself, and 2 gentlemen were at the door waiting to be noticed by staff. When finally noticed the staff member yelled we needed to go to the drive through. When I tried saying I already had, the woman walked away from view. With my receipt in hand I waited, the drive-thru at this point was around the building. A customer came to open the door for me. Immediately I was screamed at by the manager on duty, that I needed to leave and go through the drive-thru. As I was trying to explain I already had, and just needed sauce she continued to scream at me. So I yelled back, that I already had and that I merely needed the sauce that was on my receipt and not placed in my bag. Thankfully there was a member willing to listen to me, she walked to the counter to look at my receipt. When I told her I just needed the sauce, she grabbed it for me. The manager at this point was still screaming at me, threw a bag and stormed off still screaming. I called 2x to ask for the managers name to file a formal complaint . The first time someone hung up on me. The second I was told they aren’t allowed to give out names, that the only reason she acted like that was because she’s going to be there alone. When I stated I didn’t care and it’s not an excuse for her to scream at a customer for walking into the building she stated “I know you don’t care, and God bless you. You need God in your life, God bless you”. When I stated I had just left Church, the woman hung up on me for the 2nd time. I’m so fed up with people believing they’re entitled to treat someone badly because they are having a bad day. As a Christian woman I still have every right to stand up for myself and not allow some stranger to belittle or bully me by screaming at me for something as small as buffalo sauce. The entire situation could have and should have been handled differently. As I walked out the front door I was the one to tell a family of 6 the doors were locked to the inside. So they had to reload all their kids in the car. No explanations no signs posted. There were people knocking on the door to the inside still being ignored because the manager on duty was in a bad mood. Regardless of what is happening with your staff shortages it’s not an excuse to treat someone poorly. It’s not an excuse for you to fully shut down a restaurant that should be open on a Sunday afternoon at 1pm. Whoever the owner of this franchise is seriously needs to reconsider who they’re placing in management. I’ve never had a bad interaction with the younger staff that works here. But every couple of months there seems to be that one person who brings the bad with them and there is always some rude behavior targeted at customers. It’s disgusting, and while attempting to only place the complaint against the individual responsible it has now been turned to place blame on the store due to the follow up interactions from this.
Edit to say: The morning crew is phenomenal. Any bad interactions have always been in the afternoon and night. However, the morning staff...
Read moreToday was an unusual experience at one of the local McDonald's I use for fast food cravings. I ordered in the application at 5:48pm and was at a curbside spot at 5:52. While waiting for my order, (the application says will be 5 minutes)another person waiting recieved thier order after the person bring out the order asked if it was mine, even though I checked in at spot 3 and was parked in spot 3. The other person was in spot 2. 15 minutes later I had to walk into the store to check the status of my order. It wasn't like no knew that there was a curbside pickup order waiting, an employee spoke to me while I was in my car in the spot. When I entered all employees were busy preparing drive thru orders despite the two other customers besides me at the counter. I could see what turned out to be my order waiting to be brought out, and the employee who previously spoke with me. Eventually another employee acknowledged the presence of other customers inside and asked what we needed. The others inside needed to place orders, I just need to recieve my order. The wait bothered me, but drive thru was really busy and it looked like only 4 employees were working at the time. If I could I would rate ZERO!!! Not so much because of the wait. But because of the quantity and quality of what I ordered. Basket of fries. There wasn't enough for a medium, I know because I tested it using the medium fry box that came with part of my order. The food was already cold because it was sitting on a counter probably for 10 minutes. If I hadn't already been in a hurry I would have asked that the order be remade. But I guess this just the type of service I should begin to expect at the prominent fast food chain...
Read moreSept.14th, 2025 (2:24pm) went through the drive thru and ordered some food. Asked for sauces. Was in the receipt. They forget the sauces so we try to go through the inside and find out the inside is locked with customers still inside. My wife tries to get their attention to let her in but a customer was nice enough to do so. As soon as my wife stepped in to explain she didn't get her sauces she was met by an older white woman in a purple shirt yelling at my wife to get out and go back through the drive through and that she did not care about what was on the receipt. Another employee had to step in and yell at this woman explanining that my wife just didn't receive her sauces and she had already went through the drive through. So we get our sauces, head home and figure why not call about this unhinged lady who is so clearly upset in the chapter of life she's in and make a complaint. We call back to get her name and again she starts yelling telling my wife she needs God in her life and she will not give her name. We will be contacting corporate in regards to this matter of...
