I am so very disappointed to hear what happened to my sister and her fiancé at Quigley's this evening. I am a local and my family and I have been going to and enjoying Quigley's for over a decade. In fact, we also had my daughter's bridal shower at Quigley's in 2021. My sister owns a second home down the road from Quigley's and when they are in town, they typically order takeout from Quigley's 2-3 nights per week. However, tonight they had the worst and most bizarre experience there. When they order takeout from any restaurant, they always check the order before they leave to make sure it's correct, which is totally normal and shouldn't be something that any restaurant would object to. However, it was for the hostess at Quigley's this evening. When my sister discovered that they missed getting the additional gravy and sweet butter that they ordered, they of course asked for it. However, instead of apologizing for the mistake, the hostess got very annoyed, and she told them that she would have to charge them an additional $3. My sister paid the additional amount, but then the hostess still wanted to continue to argue with my sister and her fiancé about the issue. However, when they refused to argue with the hostess this ticked her off even more. She told them that they wouldn't be welcome to come back to the restaurant in the future and that she would call the police. My sister was so taken aback by the hostesses' bizarre and irrational behavior as they had kept calm during the whole ordeal, they had already paid their $80 bill plus they also had already tipped $20. What the heck??? My sister told me that she does not want any type of compensation for the horrific treatment they received this evening, but I sure do hope that Quigley's management reaches out to her and her fiancé with a...

We went to QUIGLEY’S on June 17 and had an “okay” experience.

1st complaint: We had a reservation for 7 and still waited for 20 minutes for a table. While watching several tables be seated ahead of us with no mention of how long we may be waiting. I understand it’s easier to seat smaller tables but we were told 5 minutes when we first arrived.

2nd complaint: The wait for service and drinks after being seated. The wait for the table should have been an indication of what to expect throughout the evening. Service was incredibly slow. The wait for drinks was frustrating as we were seated outside on a rather warm evening.

3rd complaint: The food was $10, sure. But the size and quality was barely worth the $10. The 6oz steak was comprised of gristle making it half the size, and served medium when we ordered medium rare. The fish and chips were okay. My mother in law didn’t enjoy her meal but my order was fine. My husband waited so long for his meal that we were all almost done by the time it was served to him, also served medium when he ordered medium rare. We didn’t mention the issues to the server because she wasn’t around often and the wait was already frustrating.

The service wasn’t terrible, our server was friendly enough when she was at our table. It just felt like they are stretched too thin, they need more people working. Instead, you’ve got employees running their legs off and serving “okay,” food to people who are overpaying (even...

We are in visit from Canada and we find this place. From the moment we stepped into Quigley's Pint & Plate, we were swept off our feet by the welcoming and warm atmosphere. This was only the beginning of a dining experience that surpassed our expectations on so many levels.

Let's begin with the food - an undeniable highlight of our visit. The culinary creations at Quigley's are top-notch, to say the least. Each dish we tasted was meticulously prepared, showcasing a true passion for the culinary arts. The flavors were vibrant, rich, and excellently balanced. Each bite was a journey, leaving us eager for the next.

The service was nothing short of impeccable. Every staff member we interacted with was attentive, courteous . It was clear that customer satisfaction was their top priority. The staff's professionalism greatly enhanced our dining experience, making us feel not just valued, but truly pampered.

The pricing, considering the quality of the food and service, was very reasonable. It's quite rare to find such outstanding quality at such fair prices. This surely adds to the appeal of Quigley's, making it a place we would recommend without a second thought.

The cherry on top was the gorgeous terrace overlooking the Turtle Pond. The serene view and tranquil ambiance created the perfect backdrop for our meal, adding an element of tranquility and beauty to...

Update: we attended Thursday trivia night. What fun! Wonderful host. Laura, I believe. We also had dessert (warning: the ice cream sandwich is big enough for two). The server told us this, but we still ordered both that dish and the cheesecake and ended up with way too much dessert goodness. Both quite excellent! Original lunch review is still below. This is the first time that we actually ate at Quigley‘s, instead of picking up food from Quigley‘s. The outdoor porch was really quite delightful. We stopped here when we were biking, and it made a nice almost halfway point between the bike shop and our destination. I’m giving the experience four stars, because the Moscow mules were OK, but really not excellent, a little too sweet. And not spicy enough. We adored the tuna nachos! And we have replicated them at home several times since then. We’ve seen similar versions at other restaurants, and it looks like it’s becoming a fad, which is fine with us, because we find them delightful. We ate at Quigley’s a great deal in the middle of the pandemic, because they had a wonderful system for pick up, and they were very well organized with what we needed for picking up food during the pandemic. We will be back, but we will try a drink other than a Moscow Mule. And again, the outdoor dining was really quite nice. A good stop during a day of biking around the island.

I write very few reviews- either very bad or very good. This one for Quigley’s is for one of the best experiences I have ever had at a bar/restaurant. My party and I could not have been more impressed with both the service and the high quality of the dishes we had. It was a Monday night and so there were happy hour specials all night. Excellent $4 microbrews made in-house. And we had three discounted appetizers. Each one was Amazing! The fried green tomatoes with blackened shrimp was our favorite. Absolutely thrilled with the creativity of the dishes as well as the expertise of the chef(s). The best hot pretzel you have ever had in your life. I recommend this place wholeheartedly and will, without a doubt, return the next time I come back to Pawleys Island. No exaggeration, everything was fabulous!

My family came here for the first time the other day for lunch and really enjoyed it! Melody was our server and she was very sweet and made us laugh. She made sure we had everything we needed and would check on us. It's rare to find a server who gives you exceptional care and seems to really care about each of her customers! The food was great. I highly recommend their grilled blackened shrimp. It's not on the menu but you can ask for them to cook it that way instead of getting it fried. If you sit outside it has a very pretty view of a pond. There are also shops near by if you're in the mood to shop afterwards. Highly recommend here and will come back!!
