I wanted to write a review about Rigsby’s in Boiling Springs. I immediately walked into the bar saw that there was places to sit and I found a place right in front of a screen that was showing 4 games. When I got to the corner of the bar, the female bartender said that seats taken. I sat in the other two hold out my laptop, then proceeded to do some of my work and work on some reviews. I immediately looked up and I saw that the TV monitor had been changed to a different game and I wasn’t even asked my opinion or my thoughts apparently the person that I was sitting next to have a relationship or worked there at Grigsby’s because I heard complaints about how slow and shitty the service was this morning of Sunday. You should never talk about your place of work in a public setting. But anyway, she came over ordered never greeted ordered a drink, and then I ordered my food. Something really simple from the kitchen tenders. The bartender immediately was gone and I was served Served by Male I had no silverware no napkins nothing the chicken tenders were overcooked and Brown the fries. Three of them were only as long as 3 inches long the rest were 1/4 or 1/2 long. I was getting bottom of the basket. No one had checked or btw the meal came out very slow. I paid with credit card no tip and left. On the way out, I asked the hostess what The manager’s name is and she responded hesitantly I believe it’s James wasn’t too positive than her response so James if you’re reading this, give me a call. Read moreREAD READ READ....First of all, our first attempt to eat at Rigsby's was the other day. When we drove by they were quite busy. So we decided to come home and call in an order. The first call, the lady said that pick up orders had a 2 hour waiting time. So we decided to call back and place an order, the lady answered and couldn't hardly hear what I was saying and hung up. When I tried to call back it kept going to busy for about 20 min. So we decided to go today around 2pm to miss the rush. We walked in and got seated immediately. The waiter took our order at 2:25. My wife finished her coffee and had to ask the waiter to refill her cup, after our waiter talked to another co-worker for about 7 mins. she brought another hot but OLD coffee. I seen my order hit the pick up about 2:40. and it sat, and sat there until she brought it with the other food. My food was cold, the pulled pork slider was cold and dry. the 3 tater tots I got were cold. My daughter ordered the 5 wings and fries with vinegar on the side. My daughter ate two wings and said she didn't like them cause they were rubbery. I tried one and not only was it cold but it tasted like straight Tabasco hot sauce. They didn't give here the side of vinegar, thank God, because as I'm writing this review, she is in bed sick from throwing up about 30 mins. ago. Read moreCame in for burgers and beer - sat at the bar since no one else was there. The burgers were fabulous - they looked and tasted fantastic. The bartender that waited on us however was a total jerk, that’s the reason I’m only giving 3 stars. We came in around 9pm and knew the place closed at 10 but there were plenty of people in there eating. We chose the bar area because we figured it would be easier to get in and out faster - I do try to be considerate of posted closing times. The bartender was in the process of cleaning up his area though and I assume annoyed because we chose to sit there - that’s the way he was acting - or maybe he’s just always like that, no idea. There’s no excuse for treating customers the way we were treated though - if your posted hours are until 10pm then you’d better be prepared to serve customers up until that point or change your damn hours. I’ve worked in a ton of restaurants and yes - it sucks when you’ve been slow all night and get ahead on your sidework thinking you’ll get out early and then someone shows up at the last minute and screws your plan, but that’s not the customer’s fault and there’s no excuse for making one feel like they’re unwelcome, that’s just how the hospitality business goes - if you don’t like it, find another industry to work in.
