Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in South Carolina

My FAVORITE of all places to have a cold sweet treat!!! This place is worth trying, my husband and I had the Mango Italian frozen ICE...no custard, but if I could do milk I would totally do custard, I am lactose intolerant, booHoo!!! I have tried their custard one time and is so smooth and richer than normal soft served iceCream...there is swirl, chocolate and vanilla flavors to choose from... They have sundae's, gelati's, cones, Shakes, Blendi's and so much More... They are known for their Italian Frozen Ice...and that is why I come to This place Again and agaiN and AGAIN!!! They sell it by small, medium and large cups also my favorite is by the quart and gallon sizes...lol Steve , one of the owners was very informative and helpful... They have different flavors made fresh daily and has always something that most all kids like and something for adults that are kids at heart...❤ Restrooms , nice and clean, they have it where you have to use a key to get into them, they are hanging on a hook at the beginning of the order line, and OVER all the establishment is nice and clean, additional outside seating available as well... Soooo go get your Cold refreshing yumminess from RITA'S Today!!! May it make you want to go back for more...over , OveR and OVER...

They need to hire more people still there patiently for 10 minutes with only one person in front of me and she was currently making the drive-through person there’s and moved on to the couple in front of me but While making theirs, someone came in the drive-through, she asked them to hold on then she finally finished with the couple They only ordered two things. Looks at me after I’ve been waiting for 10 minutes and says she’ll be with me in just a moment and proceeded to take the order in the drive-thru Instead of getting mine when I had been there a lot longer than the car in the drive-thru!! the car in the drive-thru was there not even two minutes compared to the 10 mins I waited That’s not right you take customers First come first serve all I wanted was strawberry Italian ice people in the drive-thru ordered a lot and she was going to do theirs before me so I left Never had this problem in the past, but that was ridiculous they need to hire more people and...

I love ritas and normally have exceptional experience and always enjoy seeing the hard working smiling staff. Being this location is the only one in the area its a special treat to drive into cherrydale just to get ritas. But i went this time for my custard treat and was seriously disappointed in the service. As manager of retail stores and have worked in customer service for years it means the world of difference to have outgoing staff. On Aug. 1st at 2:40 that did not happen. Not sure if the girl was having a bad day or over whelmed but the atmosphere was most unpleasant to to where I enjoyed my custard outside in my car. I know the manager has hirer standards than that for iv seen how she treats and welcomes...
