VERY LONG WINDED review:
My boyfriend and I go to this location a lot (we come from out of town, one the managers knows us because of that), they check card transactions and see that. We used to go to the other location down the street because it was the first one we ever went too, but recently I realized it’s also because of the service. This last trip we ordered online for the first time and our food was scheduled to be ready at 2:15 we came in at 2 and it was EMPTY so I went to the counter (not knowing how mobile orders worked) and asked if they got the order. James has said it wasn’t there yet and I said okay, that may be because I ordered it at 2:15. The manager Mike comes out and asks me what’s going on and I told him I had a mobile order for 2:15 and he asked what the name was and I told him there wasn’t a name, the app didn’t ask me for one and he responds “there is always a name for online orders” so I pulled up the order and low and behold when HE looked there was not a name for the order. He went back and forth between the phone and computer and then says “oh it’s for 2:15pm, that’s why”. I already made this statement, but he wanted to be so right in that moment he ignored it. I was given my phone back and I go to sit down but no one was moving Jamesha started sweeping and Sincere was just staring at me so I asked if I really had to wait for 2:15pm and Jamesha rolled her eyes and said “it’s coming up in 30 seconds we’re not just waiting for 2:15”, this was never communicated. Mike came back out after this and asks to see the order again, I told him I would just wait, but he kept saying he wanted to see it and I kept telling him I’d wait but he then approaches me and says “can you open the app, I wanna make sure it’s really there. Ya know some people say they did order but they lie sometimes” I said “excuse me, I am not going to lie about $6” and Mike then responds “you’d be surprised”. This was the most rude and degrading things I’ve heard, he excused his accusations by saying “I’d be surprised”. Why because this is not typical behavior of black customers? After he verified my $6 order Mike finally asks my boyfriend and I to get in line and just make the tacos since we were there before it printed out. Finally 1 other person comes in behind me and my boyfriend. Mike is helping him and Sincere starts making the other customers food before assisting me I asked him why and he said “I was going to let my manager handle yours and deal with this customer”. This was the worsttttttt experience ever. Another worker (he has dreads I hate I don’t remember his name) came in that we usually deal with and he asked how were we doing and I said not good. That didn’t make him feel comfortable so before we left he came over to ensure that we would return even after the experience we had that day. But I mean honestly after being stereotyped and ignored I would save myself the trouble and drive 5 extra minutes to get the same food served with better...
Read moreFood was okay no complaint there. The guy who started fixing my food was rather sweaty. Sweat looked ready to drip from his nose at any moment. Cashiers tried to give me the wrong order, before reaching in the tip jar to complete my change with a few pennies. I immediately thought they were attempting to draw my attention to the tip jar. Since I was a walk-in to go order I don't know why. If I were to tip anyone it would have been "Sweaty guy" he seemed to be working the hardest. Dining rm was empty. One other customer stood waiting on food when I arrived. No other customers came while I got my food and left. Seemed strange for the location of the restaurant, but hey what do I know, I'm not in the Franchise restaurant business. But I do know restaurants are in general a difficult business. Hopefully things pick up, but generally for me Moe's, Chipotle, Salsarita's, and the new one Uberrito are the...
Read moreI love good Mexican food and I had driven past this place a lot and always thought it was a fast food place. While you do order at the counter like fast food, the quality of the food is so much better than fast food Mexican. Their chips are nice and light and crispy. I had the chicken burrito with the cilantro lime rice and black beans. You have three choices of rice you can have ground beef or chicken and then all kinds of toppings such as pico de gallo or just lettuce and tomato and cheese I got queso with my chips (instead of salsa) and a small side of guacamole.Everything was exceptional! And the staff was prompt and nice, and came around to my table on a regular basis checking on me to see if I needed anything else. I was very pleasantly surprised. And yes, I...
