SC Real Foods has always been fantastic, but now they've added the new Peck Away Cafe, so we traveled over to try it out during their soft opening. Oh my goodness, the food was delicious and all of us enjoyed the choices and selections offered. I had the Smashing Cheeseburger and added bacon to the top, soooooo good!! The Cucumber BLT Salad was also delicious: chopped bacon with cucumber, tomato & thinly sliced red onion tossed together in housemade creamy Buttermilk Dressing and served over a bed of Romaine w/ house-made croutons.

Okay so 1. Their hours are horrible. If I'm doing my grocery shopping in the morning I'm not going to wait for them to open until 11 am. 2. Sometimes the food they have in the refrigerator section that is pre-made (salads, Mac and cheese, chicken, etc.) is expired, so check the expiration dates. 3. This store is overpriced. If you want healthy food and know how to look for it in a normal grocery store, get it there instead.

The all new location at Celebration BLVD and Palmetto ST is awesome! More of the same great foods but now healthy meals and a place to eat as well. Now it seems more of its own location rather than an addition and is much easier to get to now on the west side of Florence. Nearly everything is locally sourced and the owner operators are as nice as can be!

I've never really had any major complaints about this place until today. I ordered my sandwich online because I was in a hurry. I walked in and saw a young girl with short orange hair standing over some food that was open. I didnt know what she was doing at first. I was thinking, "Ahhhhh man, my food isn't ready. I hope it doesn't take much longer." I just knew this girl was about to go on lunch and was standing over HER FOOD!!! When she realized I was at the counter she jumped, said "Oh", and then put her phone in her back pocket. Now I'm thinking, "You have guests waiting and you're taking pictures of YOUR food!" Boy was I wrong. Turns out she was taking pictures of MY FOOD!!!! I don't know if she touched it to make it more "photogenic" or not! Even if COVID wasn't on the loose, a customer's food should not be open like that for photo ops!!! I'm never ordering from this...

I tell everyone about SC Real. You’ve heard that your immune system depends on a healthy gut? Guess what, SC Real has your back. Raw, grass fed milk, totally grass fed beef, organic yellow grits (Be still, my soul), Keto bombs, keto foods, delicious soups and bread made fresh daily, quiches also made fresh...I just ate and am making myself hungry.... Victors from downtown provides delicious salads, chicken salad with cranberries and almond slivers, etc (addicting), and easy dishes to prepare very easily if indeed you have to prepare at all.

There are dry goods, healthy sweets, organic mixes for many wonderful eats. They have cereals, nuts, Amish butter.....everything that the health conscious but likes the good stuff...would want.

The staff is exceedingly knowledgeable and helpful.

For daily specials, check them out on FB. You will glad...

I've gone here a couple times in the last month (Aug-Sep 2021) but I won't be returning for a while. It's not surprising to see a business here in SC that has no mask requirements for patrons, but it's very disappointing to see one that seemingly has no standards in this regard for employees -- even more so when said employees are preparing food. Please keep up with the science -- vaccines are not enough right now to stop the spread of COVID-19 and it's wholly irresponsible for you all to be preparing & serving food here in SC...
