The food is great as always but I have to leave this review. It was lunch rush so their drive through was so long that it's out of the parking lot. I waited 15 mins until it's my turn, a male took my order and I thought it was confirmed, but then a female come on and asked for my order again. I tried telling her that I already placed my order, she was saying something but I couldn't understand her since I am hard of hearing. So I told her that I need to pull up to the window because I couldn't hear her, of course there's still a line to the window, so waited until i pulled up. When I got to the window she told me that the head phones weren't working and they didn't get my order, so I tried to tell her my order. She then told me that she can't take my order in the window and asked me to go back in the drive through to order! She told me she tried to tell me at the speaker and I've told her I'm hard of hearing that's why i pulled up. She said sorry you have to go back in line. Then I told her how are you supposed to help people with hearing disabilities then? She just said "I don't know, but you have to go back in the drive through". I feel it was so unfair considering I've already waited 20 mins in line just to wait another 20 mins just because they they didn't get my order. I was so upset I just left. I went in as normal but this time with a coupon for a free drink. The cashier asked the manager I suppose if this was the correct code on the bottom of the receipt. The manager responded no but she comes in all the time so just give her the free drink. Now I have managed the food business before, if the code was wrong that is fine, just donāt honor the coupon. Things happen, I couldāve just written it wrong life is busy. The part that frustrated me was after I paid and was waiting on my order the manager began to talk about me to the cashier. Now I believe that is very inappropriate. I have no problem paying for a $2 drink but please do not make a scene and talk about me like that. Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter a very frustrating episode at the drive thru today where i restated my order THREE times, once at the drive thru and twice at the window, and still given the wrong order, I emailed the owner to voice my frustrations very nicely i might add. His response was distasteful and unprofessional in my opinion. Stating "we ultimately provided you with what you ordered". No sir, i ordered a "small original combo with a large sweet tea and a side of potato salad" i was initially offered a regular sweet tea and I once again stated my order and asked for my chips and was told that i was charged for a sandwich, a tea, and a side. I DID receive what i was charged for BUT I did NOT receive what I ordered! All of this being said all because the owner could care less about about offering a simple apology. I have been a customer at Schlotzkys for probably 25+ years, even at some locations that are no longer open, but the service and later response I received today will prevent me from ever returning!...
