The employees were delightful, unlike majority of my experiences at ChicK-fil-A over at least the past 5 years. This location had the bells and whistles to make their assembly line smooth, including doors that fully open at the pickup window but somehow the extra resources seem to be doing more harm than good here. There also seemed to be too many idle employees.
The first time through the line my 12 piece grilled nuggets were not in the bag and the fries were cold and soggy. This was discovered after visiting the McDonald's to use the restroom as ChicK-fil-A's dining room is closed to the public. After the most thorough search I've ever had at a fast food establishment, the employee provided the nuggets that had been paid for but not given the first time. Figuring the thoroughness of the employee's search to confirm there was no lie about not receiving the nuggets that had been paid for would yield the correct outcome, I drove off.
My order was STILL wrong. Due to medical conditions I cannot tolerate ChicK-fil-A's fried nuggets. I ate 2 and lost the remainder of my money on this purchase when they had to be thrown away. Not to mention the wasted time.
ChicK-fil-A is one of the very very few fast food restaurants that already had measures in place to support an expedited drive through experience especially during times of heavy traffic influx. It is incredibly perplexing as to why in multiple states ChicK-fil-A is seemingly having difficulty adequately satisfying its consumers. Not to mention leaving its customers questioning the value of continuing to spend their hard earned money at a subpar establishment just because their experience there is socially comfortable.
The macaroni and cheese gave ChicK-fil-A a golden opportunity to promote retrial for customers and consumers previously lost for a number of reasons. Now on most days the macaroni and cheese is just plain disgusting.
Due to incredibly poor customer service, inconsistent quality standards, not to mention the fries are almost always only halfway full, ChicK-fil-A is a place I do not seek out unless with another that is adamant about eating...
Read moreI go to this Chick-fil-a often because it is the closest one to my workplace. They are welcoming and courteous, and I do like how they have people outside during rush times to help the drive thru move faster. However, there are a lot of things they could improve on and my experience today made me want to lay them out.
A colleague made a food run during lunch and when he got back, we found we didn’t have napkins, straws, or ketchup, and his grilled chicken sandwich was cold. We wouldn’t be very mad, except that this is a very common occurrence. We were discussing this, and it’s not just me. If we do not think to ask for some things, especially ketchup, often we don’t get them. I worked at a Chick-fil-a in high school, and I remember that we were expected to add these basics before the bag went out, even adding some ketchup and if they ask for extra, we could give extra. I don’t understand why this is something that always happens, even why it’s busy. For my location, it was just a part of preparing the order, no matter how busy we were.
As far as speed … if the drive thru is busy and there’s no one taking orders outside, I tend to go somewhere else. It’s understandable that this can take forever and I usually only have a certain amount of time before I have to be back at work. I rarely just go inside though. They are usually agonizingly slow inside. I’ve actually left and gone somewhere else before because I just don’t have the time. This is the only Chick-fil-a I’ve been to where it seems they have all the time in the world to get orders out to people waiting inside.
At most places, I would be surprised if I received great service. The problem is, I’ve gone to Chick-fil-a for almost 20 years, and on top of that I worked for one. I have higher expectations, and I know the company has higher expectations. I hope at some point this location will work these kinks out. For now I guess I will have to check my order and continue to see if I have the time to...

First off, let me tell you, this place is cleaner than a whistle. You could eat off the floors, but hey, why do that when you've got a menu chock-full of mouth-watering eats? The staff there are friendlier than a neighbor with a tool to lend. They greet you with a smile so genuine, you'd think you're at a family reunion. And let's talk about those waffle fries – they're the kind of good that makes you wanna write a letter home.
Now, the classic Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich is the bee's knees. It's like a little piece of heaven tucked between two buttery buns. And those nuggets? They're the gold standard, my friends. Dip 'em in that Chick-fil-A sauce, and it's like a flavor explosion in your taste buds. Plus, they've got salads for those days when the missus reminds you about watching the ol' waistline.
But here's the kicker – they're closed on Sundays. That's right, just when you've got a hankering for some chicken after mowing the lawn, you remember it's the Lord's day, and those chicken doors are closed. It's a real test of patience, I tell ya.
Chick-fil-A on Pelham Road is the place to be for a family feast that's sure to please. With a 4-star rating and a menu that's got more hits than my old mixtape, it's a spot that's earned its stripes in the fast-food safari.
