I'm from Charlotte NC, came for a weekend get away to the beach. I've been bouncing around different Starbucks locations for the last few days cause, you know, coffee reasons.
This particular location, wow man. I had to repeat our order like 10 times. Each time, correcting something either totally wrong, or just off in general.
At the end of the order at the microphone. The lady repeated the order to make sure it was finally correct, and it all seemed to be in order.
I get to the window.. Immediately hands me the wrong drink. I mean, come on.. i paid $6 for an iced caramel macchiato. Now, look mistakes happen. That isn't why I'm leaving the bad review. I'm a sane normal dude.. It was just the insane amount of attitude the elderly women at the window gave me.. She actually argued with me about the drink I ordered! I know what I asked for, haha. I said it about 10 times in a row.
Then, they make it on the fly.. Its wasn't correct again. I swear to you, it wouldn't shock me if they put some sort of caramel milk coffee mixture into the milk and called it a day. I said thank you anyways, but the elderly woman stared at me and ignored me until I drove away. Then yelled your welcome as I left.
Moments later, they shut down. Turned away customers coming to the drive threw. The only option since the Covid-19. Had 2 employees running outside going from car to car telling them to git.
I had to go to another location to get what I actually wanted, cause what they gave me wasn't even... Coffee. A $6 cup of milk..
Something was either off today.. Or, idk. But a horrible experience across the board. An actual first...
Read moreI went through the drive thru initially. I ordered a hot white chocolate mocha and some food. I got the coffee first and took a sip waiting on my food. It was not as sweet as it usually is, so I asked for them to put a few shots of liquid sugar in it. The guy hands me 2 packets of sugar. I pull into a parking spot to add my sugar and see that the cup was already half empty. I go inside to show them and not one person addresses me when I walk in to the empty place with 4 baristas standing around. I finally walked to the end where two of them were standing and tried to explain my issue. She cut me off and said they're already remaking your drink, then turned back to the other person to carry on their conversation. Someone handed me a new cup and walked away. No one ever apologized for the delay or inconvenience or said another word to me. I was really disappointed in the level of service I received since I'm used to everyone being super friendly at most Starbucks. I got into my car and just out of sheer curiosity, I opened my lid. Same level as the first one. I was already running behind, so I just left with my half of a coffee. I emailed their customer service line to try to give them the opportunity to make it right before posting this, but I never heard from anyone there...
