The public beach access at the very end had plenty of parking and it also had bathroom facilities (outhouses). The walk on the beach was very nice and clean. Read moreThis small park is the welcome area to the actual island - the town of Pawleys Island apparently exists on the other side of the causeway - and has been maintained or restored to look like the original land. Palm trees and an open grass spot that is very likely where a festival or market might be held.
