Pawleys Island Beach Service — Local services in South Carolina

This will be a review of renting the bikes only. Although we wish they would add E- bikes to their inventory, this place is efficient and very friendly!

I’m little, about 5 foot one, and my lack of height is because I have really short legs. So even on very small bikes, my feet do not touch the ground, and I’m a bit of a nervous biker, so I like to have my feet touch the ground. Sometimes I will even rent a child’s bike. When we arrived, the person behind the desk let me try several bikes, and apparently, it was her first day! She handled everything beautifully. We were given helmets and baskets, and the bikes, and we were off to bike the Waccamaw Neck, which we have done before, on one other occasion. We arrived mid afternoon, so we told her we would not be back until after the shop closed, and she showed us how to bring the bikes back and just lock them up after-hours. How convenient! The location here is great, because you can bike through some residential areas, mostly past golf courses, before reaching the Waccamaw Neck. It is a nice bike path, from the rental place, with just a little stretch of having to cross a street...

I was so happy to find this company on Pawleys! If you’re looking for a bike rental this is the place to go! They have excellent customer service and wonderful bikes. I have rented lots of bikes on vacation and often times the bikes are pretty beat up or expensive. This company has really good quality bikes! My bike was a Taxi and the seat was comfortable and nice grips on the handlebars. You can also request helmets and baskets too. I prefer the baskets as it makes it easy to carry everything.

This company will deliver and pick up seamlessly. I was impressed the their customer service. Just complete the form online and they will call you. best to book early, but if you forget call anyway as they might get some in. This happened to me and they were all sold out and then they called me!

There are plenty of places to ride on the island. I enjoy riding on the island trails and also the beach. There is a bike trail that leads right to the state park too.

Bikes from here, made our trip perfect! We planned a trip to Huntington Beach state park with my brother and sister in law, end of March. They always bring bikes. We had weight limits so couldn't bring ours. Our bikes.....complete with helmet, lock and basket were delivered like right away, to our campsite!! And picked up again! We got a discount for cash . These bikes were less for a week than other places were for a day. We could ride them on the beach( gale winds and ya don't have to peddle) We could ride everywhere.
