During my friends' visit from Orlando, we decided to satisfy our sweet tooth with some ice cream and stumbled upon Stellar Ice Cream in Beaufort. As someone who isn’t particularly fond of sweets, I was hesitant, but this place completely won me over.

If your family is anything like mine, filled with ice cream aficionados, you owe it to yourself to visit this spot. Every flavor we tried was phenomenal, but the lemon ice cream stood out for me. It was incredibly refreshing and tasted like the best lemon cake I've ever had.

The owner and his employee were exceptional. They worked quickly to manage the line and answered all our questions with enthusiasm. Their passion for making small-batch, homemade ice cream was evident and made our experience even more enjoyable. They were patient as the four of us sampled nearly every flavor before making our selections, making us feel welcome and valued.

The ice cream here is the best I’ve ever had. The flavors are vibrant, the texture is creamy and smooth, and the quality is unmatched. It’s clear that a lot of love and care goes into each batch. The lemon flavor is a must-try, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with any choice.

The staff's friendliness and the fresh, great-tasting ice cream make this a standout spot in Beaufort. If I could give more than five stars, I would! The ice cream is delicious. Creamy and top notch.

The staff during my visit, which may or may not have been some kind of employee and a manager or an owner, were not all that welcoming to guests. They didn’t really engage with anyone or talk about their flavors or their product at all, they just sat there and waited for you to place your order and flipped the screen when it came time to pay and collect a tip. In such a small establishment on a Saturday, this lack of customer service stands out.

I also inquired and you are not allowed to split a single scoop, which is something that’s a little bit unusual in an establishment that sells by the scoop. Most of them will allow you two flavors when purchasing a single scoop but that is not possible in this shop. The same cups are used for the single, double, and triple scoop, and having ordered a triple scoop and observed a single scoop, I will not be ordering a triple again. The best value is definitely a single scoop because the portion is relatively generous whereas the triple is a bit stingy.

The quality of the milkshakes are quite high although the price is a little bit steep for a rather small shake. Overall, I will be back and I really enjoyed the ice cream, but this was almost in spite of the staff and some of these simple business choices. Found this place while running an errand to Grayco. Thought I’d give it a try and so glad I did! Their ice cream is so creamy, smooth and beyond delicious! I’ve always been only so so about vanilla ice cream but their’s is the best I’ve ever had. I am a HUGE fan of their Killa Vanilla!!! Loved it so much that I bought a pint to go for my husband who has tried numerous versions of vanilla all over the world. He even agreed that it is of the best he’s also had.
