Subway — Restaurant in South Carolina

I think the employee today basically mugged me at the drive up. I tried to leave a message on the corporate website but the "Submit" button did nothing at all. So here is my complaint, and I do frequent this location, and usually the other employees are very nice. In fact this one was very nice too but seemed to have pocketed $10 in change he forgot to give me, after also somehow overcharging me by $1.05 for my sammy than the price on the kiosk had given me. If this has happened to you, no you aren't making too much of an honest mistake, this distract-and-switch stuff is exactly how hustlers take your cash. I don't like being HUSTLED by a subway employee. I got my money back but he kept my receipt in the process. He had entered in the register that I paid with a $10 when I paid with a $20. He kept the change and when I had to go back and ask him for it, showing him the receipt, he kept my receipt but coughed up two fives. I see you...

So I went into subway today 8/29/25. The employee who started our sub very nice and did right, the 2nd lady was rude and seemed racist when she seen me and my fiancée. I asked for very light lettuce on our sandwich, and she put a whole handful on it. Then when I asked for hot honey she said nope we ain’t got it. Well I eat subway in Myrtle beach all the time and get my subs the same way each time. Well, this lady was very rude and talked ugly. So I told her we would not be getting ourselves since she really just threw it together and did not do as we asked and seemed she was mad because my partner was African-American. I exited the store, got to my car the whole time she was running her mouth. She ran around the Counter and followed us out the door as we’re getting in our car. She is still yelling calling me out my name. And calling me the B word. So I’ll never ever step foot back into that subway again....

We have always frequented this Subway and never had a problem, until today! I love the Tuna Sub, which I have always had Pepper Jack cheese put on it and had it toasted! Today the young man who was making our subs absolutely refused to toast the Tuna Sub! He said because of the mayonnaise to which I told him we have always had it toasted with no problem and he STILL refused to toast it stating that he did not feel comfortable doing so! Toasting mayonnaise will not kill anyone as we put it on cheese toast as well as use it in numerous casseroles!
