US Wings & Deli- Red Bank — Restaurant in South Carolina

I visited for lunch today, it was my first time. I saw the bad reviews and decided I would try it out for myself because I really wanted chicken wings and I don't like the options around here. I am pleasantly surprised. The service was nice and friendly, the establishment was clean and tidy, the food was amazing! I expected the wings to be smothered in a mixture of Texas pete and butter, BUT WOW was I wrong! The hot sauce has loads of flavor and has to be a special in house mix which is hot, but not burn and blister your mouth hot. It was perfect! The fries were perfectly cooked and a really decent portion. The gentleman that was taking my order was patient with me when I had to run out to the car to get my wallet and even said he'd give me a few extra fries when I told him I didn't need the drink with my combo. My favorite wing place BY FAR. Andrew does an thorough job at getting the wings out quickly and making sure you have all the extras you need to complete the order. Every flavor is delicious. They’ll let you mix flavors and have lots of side order options, but I always opt for the fries with all the fry seasoning I want! I suggest mixing lemon pepper with honey glaze or teriyaki. My fiancé loves the hot teriyaki! Plenty of great options for combination. I’ve never had to wait in a line, because they move things along so quickly. Pro tip: get the chicken empanadas. Trust me, you’ll want to get at least two. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, all the feelings of a “mom and pop” place. And the wings taste just like your mom and pop made them for the neighborhood block party or family reunion. This location is great with plenty of available parking. I got the 10 wings combo meal. Majorly disappointed. The wings were still stuck together as they were still sitting frozen in the freezer. The “teriyaki” wings were just fried wings with a cup of teriyaki sauce on the side. The lemon pepper seasoning was just casually draped over top of the wings, not tossed or anything so just the top half of my wings were seasoned. The cook of the fries was the only thing I was happy about (lightly crispy) however they were poorly seasoned. I get US wings and deli all the time when I’m at work and normally go to the broad river location. I have never been disappointed at that location. I will NOT be back to the red bank location.
