US Wings & Deli — Restaurant in South Carolina

Went to this location today (5-5-17) 20 minuted ago and ordered 2 piece whiting combo. I tried to ignore the pungent smell coming from the tray. I sat down and ate 2 bites of the fish and a few french fries. I felt nauseated within 10 minutes. I tried to eat another bite and started gagging. I told one of the male employees that the fish was bad. He stated "I can make you another fish". I told him I did not want more fish because it is bad. He asked me what else would I like to order. I don't want anything else because I now feel sick. He asked "you don't like the fish?" "No refunds. See the sign". Had to explain that it is not about liking the fish. I told him the fish is not good, expired, spoiled. He gave me a bogus email address. I told him I would call DHEC and the newspaper. He tried to keep my tray and he did not give me a refund. I Wil be calling DHEC and will not go there ever again. If I could've given a zero I would've. Addendum: the "owner" finally callede back a few hours later and told me I could get a refund. On 12/20/2023, I went to pick up an online order. I wasn't dressed formally (sweats, hoodie, bedroom shoes), but when I informed the staff at the counter about my order, the young man demanded to see proof, which hadn't been required in my previous orders. Unfortunately, I didn't have a screenshot and hoped to find confirmation in my email. During this time, the young Hispanic man spoke disrespectfully about me in Spanish to a cook in the lobby, assuming I didn't understand. It was uncomfortable and unwarranted. I wouldn't recommend this place based on how they treated me. They assumed that I was homeless or poor and was lying about the order. I could’ve shown them the card, my ID or even provided my number had they just asked. The young man at the counter was determined to embarrass me for some reason. The order was cancelled and I left. I wouldn’t advise eating here and will continue to spread the word as to why others shouldn’t either. I’m not upset that I was asked for proof, more upset by their actions. Despicable...

Do not eat here! I ordered 50 wings, 40 honey mustard and 10 bbq; along with a box of fries for around $50. When I got home, I saw that my pan of 40 HM wings had ABSOLUTELY NO SAUCE ON THEM! I drove back to the store and asked for the wings that I paid for. I never asked for a refund, because my family was at home waiting to eat dinner. The woman, who I think is the manager (and refused to give us her name) took my wings and 2 minutes later came back with the same wings now with a few globs of sauce on them. I asked her for some fresh wings, as it had been about 30 minutes since I originally picked up the order. She refused, and gave me a receipt for $9.25 saying she was giving me the refund that I asked for. I told her that I NEVER asked for a refund, because I needed the food to feed my family.
