I decided to give this new spot on Broad River a try, and overall, the experience was just okay.

I ordered chicken wings and specifically asked for them to be fried extra crispy, but they came out nowhere near crispy. It’s a small detail, but when you make a specific request, you expect it to be honored.

The shrimp fried rice was another disappointment. There were way more peas and carrots than actual shrimp, and the rice itself was yellow. Since when did Chinese fried rice turn yellow? It felt more like a knockoff version than the classic fried rice I was expecting.
