The service was not the best. Went there to celebrate my bday. All I wanted was to dance a smoke a hookah. Went to the bar and was told to wait, waited so long that we asked the other bartender if we could sit at a section in the back she said yes and told us that someone would be there to take our order for the hookah. We sat for awhile and no one came. So finally my husband went to go get someone. She came over we told her what we wanted. Again, we only really went for the hookah. The waitress said the hookah would be free with the purchase of food. So we placed an order for food which was really great when we got it. She walked away after taking the food order. My husband went to her again to ask about taking the order for hookah and that’s when she said they were trying to get it to work. So we had ordered food and didn’t get a hookah.. the DJ was decent. It’s a nice size venue. The service just needs to be better especially because it was a Thursday night. We left after we...

They have one huge area to the right that's roped off for VIP which is cute. You're away from all the other patrons and you would be able to have fun in your own little space. Directly ahead is the bar and it is quite large. To the far left is a stage where the DJ was for karaoke. In front of that you have your high tables, and around the wall you have other little VIP booths. The service is good and quick. I don't live in Columbia so I don't know if that was because it was a Sunday night. As far as the patrons, it would be a general type of crowd with no shortage of catty women. They have decent drink prices, however I do not recommend the wings. They are...
Read moreI had an amazing dining experience at Truth of Columbia! I ordered the Teriyaki/Hibachi Chicken Plate, and everything was cooked to order, hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The chicken was tender with a perfect glaze of teriyaki sauce, and the portion size was just right. The veggies were crisp and well-seasoned, and the rice tied it all together nicely.
I also tried the Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls for the first time, and they did not disappoint! The wrapper was perfectly crispy, and the inside was hot, steamy, and packed with flavor. There’s a special dipping sauce that comes with them—I definitely recommend giving it a try as it adds a great extra kick to the rolls.
Great vibes, solid food, and fast, friendly service. I’ll...
