East Room — Restaurant in West Columbia

For over a decade I have been coming to the east room. In fact I'm even a member evenf though my card was lost years ago when bran ran the bar. I have never ever had an issue getting into the establishment but this evening because my ID was expired I did not get get in even though a couple months ago I did get in with it because that is the id I use when I go out ( I was double charged a few months ago even though my id was expir3d and they still let me in) but back to the point..I'm a member (they do not keep records) and was denied entry. I am 33 and will never return even after a decade of being a loyal customer. I will also report to my friends the service I received at the door. The door man has caused numerous issues since he has been there. I am appalled at the service I was given and will never come back which hurts my heart because I really do love the east room. Thank you for the good years and I'm sorry we had to part. Please get new employees. And furthermore the man that the doorman called after I complained actually threatened to put his hands on me.... a 33 year old girl... is that the image the east room wants to portray? Problems with the doorman in the past have included asking my friend to leave when he was just sitting with us doing nothing wrong, my friends went outside to call a cab and he would not let them come back inside so we had to sit outside for 20 minutes waiting for our cab to arrive and one night when I was calling a cab I was heading outside so I could hear on my phone and he told me if I went outside I was not allowed back in. So we are being punished for making safe choices....

My friend Kim goes there on a regular and had been asking me to go but I was a little apprehensive Because I was told by some coworkers that it was a rough place...they were wrong. I was greeted not just by staff but also by the customers. People introducing themselves and just giving you a wonderful conversation. You never had to get up and ask for anything because the bartender was very attentive. I have been more attracted to the dance clubs but this visit has completely changed that. It has a Cheer's atmosphere that you can fall in love with. I wished I had taken up on Kim's invitation sooner. But I believe I will be spending more of my night out there...its a great place to just unwind and get to...

I play in apa league and I had to come to this "bar/closet" a few times now...first you have to wear a mask to come in? It's a smoking bar and they require you to wear a mask to get in then once you're inside, NO ONE is wearing a mask. It's takes a sacrifice of your first born child and 1000 years of waiting to get a drink, because there's ONE person taking orders and letting people in the door! Then there's the worst pool tables in the midlands, that cost a dollar. I've heard that the wings are good, if you like jumbo steroid wings. I refuse to come back here and I'll make sure that...
