Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in South Carolina

We just moved here and didn't know what to wayback Burger was we went in the afternoon to have lunch the manager was in the back cooking and it seemed like the employees were just there which is fine I don't care I'm just giving my observation the manager was working harder than the others anyways the food was fantastic it was so amazing we never had wayback Burger before so when we had that experience it was great then we decided to go back and have dinner there since it was such an amazing lunch when we went back in the evening we got waited on by kids which is fine they need to work but kids who could really care less the food came out it was more than blah there seemed to be no rush no urgency there was no friendliness and when we sat down you could see seven employees standing there in their back window with our grill is playing on their phones horse playing with each other and nothing really going on and it was just not the experience we experienced when we went for lunch so that's the reason for the one-star because if it was based off of just our lunch I would have given you guys at 5 but going back and experiencing what we experienced for your evening shift in your evening people that's why you get a one-star and we probably won't be going back to this place at all during the evening time because it seems to be not ran by anybody of the age...

Friday night date night and this was the BEST place!!!! FOOD The burger with cheese and fries 🍟 were PERFECTLY cooked juicy and fresh and the fries were crispy and the large was perfect size to share The milkshakes looked VERY templating!! I love it when you can see all the options So you order the burger then look at the list and add the toppings The calories are to the right for those that count TIP I'm a little nibbler with a tiny tummy so the single pattie was PLENTY for me

SERVICE The service was amazing. The Gal who took our order was so sweet. She explained everything and smiled that sweet Southern way. The guys on the grill were great. Someone brought out our burgers and the hot fresh now fries. Just so refreshing to see young folks with such nice work ethic and kindness. Bless them 🙏

LOCATION In a really nice brand new strip shopping center The location was stellar right off 85 hwy 290

ATMOSPHERE Cool diner with some bar stools and then some tables and then several half booths that line the walls it really has a cool diner chic look. Everything was sparkling clean and squared away (and that speaks VOLUMES by my standards as my son says you could do surgery on my kitchen floor LOLL)

Wanted to go for a burger at this Duncan location for a Saturday afternoon dinner. Last time I stopped by was for a late lunch around 2pm. Someone came to the door and told us that they don't open until 4pm because of lack of labor. Understandable because it is happening at a handful of places around here. Trying to make sure that it was open today, I called the restaurant twice. No answer either time. I called the Greenville store and spoke to Phillip who assured me that they were open. When we arrived, I mentioned to the two employees that were at the register about the phone issue. One of them said that it hadn't been ringing all day, so I called it. They looked at the phone ringing and acknowledged that the ringer was off. They never corrected the issue, so I guess that they don't want anyone calling. Then we tried to use our wayback rewards app and were informed that it wasn't operational. This location has been open at least 6 weeks and the rewards still aren't working? Also, they still don't even have an "OPEN" sign in the window like the other businesses in this same strip mall. Do you really want to be open? Everything points to...
