Just ate there for first time. Had the Shrimp Pad Thai. Liked it a lot. It was a little bit sweet, I thought. But the shrimp were cooked perfectly. My companions had the barbecue chicken, pineapple fried rice, and teriyaki chicken, and all were very happy with their meals. The Pad Thai, teriyaki chicken, and fried rice were generous portions. The barbecue chicken was more like a normal portion, but sure did look good. Had a great light char/crisp on it. Oh, and the crab rangoons were very good, too. Had a crispy wonton, and heavy on nice ingredients inside. Tasted like it had a little cheddar in it, in addition to the cream cheese, which does set it apart from others. You get 6 pieces. As I drove away, I realized that the slightly-sweet taste of the pad thai would have been a great opportunity to have them put some heat to it. She didn't ask me how much heat I wanted in it, but I'm sure they would have obliged if I would have asked. Level two means a little spicy, as their menu says. I'll do that next time. It did take a little while to get the food, but it was worth the wait. The lady who was our waitress looked more like part owner or something like that, and she was very friendly and kind. The front parking lot fills up kinda quick, due to the other businesses nearby, but there is parking in the rear, and in neighboring lots. Decent Mexican place in same building, so if these guys are closed, you've got a great...
Read moreWent here for lunch at 1215, didn't receive food until 1250. Not too big of deal for me since it was my first time here. I noticed that some of the more frequent customers came in after me and they got their food before I did. Maybe the guy didn't put my app and lunch order in at the same time. The food had a good taste and the flavors blended together well. I ordered the two meat and mixed vegetables. I thought I would have received a large portion of meat, but it only had 3 pieces of beef about the size of my thumb and 4 pieces of chicken the same size.the rest was some vegetable and large amount of rice.the place may have had 20 people eating will I was there and most had their food when I came in. It was also getting warm in there like they were having air problems. I noticed a portable fan beside the table. No big deal you have to do what you have to do. I thought my food was 12.95 for the dish and 6.50 for the sushi and free water, but my bill was higher. Again the food had good flavor and the older man and woman was nice but there wasn't enough food for the price. May try there again one day, but there are plenty of other...
Read moreSo I haven’t had much Thai food in SC just because every time I have it’s been underwhelming. But last night I was craving it so we decided to try Thai Garden. I’m so grateful we did because the flavors were spot on, lots of fresh veggies, delicious noodles, and the meat was the perfect texture and flavor.
I’m big on Thai basil chicken and Pad Ke Mao (or drunken noodles depending on where you go). I went with the pad ke mao add a fried egg and got it medium with a side of extra chili. The medium had a little bit of heat so I added more chili, I think next time I’ll do hot (I have a decent heat tolerance just an fyi) if you don’t like heat you can get it without heat and add a side of chili if you want a smidge of heat.
The service was great, the lady who rang me up was so personable!
For two meals it was about $30 which is to be expected. I did get 3 meals out of it though so not a bad...
