Ashford Park Apartments — Local services in Lyman

This was an okay place for me to move into 3yrs ago. The amenities, Sq ft and mostly lease costs seemed to be well matched at the time. However, these last two or so years has seen the lease costs go up without additional amenities or updates to be improved. I get that everything else has gone up, but at least do something value added to make it seem like it to the residents that it's justified.

Of course anyone of us can move (at the end of the lease), but just don't inspire or motivate the reason for the move for your current residents. Also, for the folks not able to make the light switches work... you have to look for the one upside down outlet in the room to use for your light fixture to be switched (they didn't tell me, I had to figure it out).

The gates are either stuck or non functional every other or every week. The dumpster needs to have a valet service as people don't seem to understand that they need to Open the trash receptacle door and place your trash inside, then Close the door to allow the dumpster to properly function. I feel folks either feel entitled (too good to use it), lazy or a combination thereof. Mildly irritating to have to step over other folks' rubbish scattered on the ground in front of the dumpster door. Corp should look at alternatives to that style of dumpster.

Having one park entrance can be a bit sketchy especially if there is a wreck between CB and CFA or if its rush hour for one or both businesses. Hopefully corp could also look at a traffic shift with a second entrance.

Maintenance team is spot on. I feel bad for those guys sometimes having to deal with other folks' rubbish at the dumpster area.

Ashford Park Homes Are Very Nice, New And Spacious Apartments. Quiet Neighborhood And Very Well Kept. Nice Staff, I Love Mrs. Audrey, Very Beautiful Personality...

Great complex. We have used Ashford Park for our corporate housing for the past year and a half. We were the first residents in the building we occupy when it was first built. The staff in the office is friendly and always available to help. When I experienced a personal medical emergency, office staff went above and beyond to help me out. Communication with the office has been great (with only a couple of exceptions) and we look forward to continuing our business relationship with them. As far as the gate, and other amenities are concerned, this is a new complex, and as one of the longer-term residents I can tell you that despite delays in construction the staff has done their best to accommodate the needs of the residents. The gate is installed and works fine, pool, gym, and theater facilities are clean and fantastic.

Every new place has its growing pains, and no roll-out will go perfect. The addition of the card-access it makes accessing the facilities much easier than the old door code system. For the money and amenities offered, this was by-far the best option we have found. I live here on-site whenever I am in-town for site inspections, or when operational need dictates it, and I feel completely safe and secure. There are some low and negative ratings on here, but as someone who has been here from nearly the beginning I can tell you the positives far outweigh the negatives. Bedroom lamps cost $10 at WalMart, so if the lack of overhead lighting in the rooms is an issue for you, it's...
