I recently visited this location during a time they had a system issue, which took over 25 minutes to resolve. Cool things happen but to give me some food that was sitting near the cash register (not under a heated lamp) is not acceptable and when I ask for a fresh order the cashier and the manager had an issue with it. In addition to the people who shakes were sitting by the window for the exact time. Stop taking orders until your system issue gets resolved so you can serve quality food. Something told me to go in while they remade my order. I literally watch the cook throw the previous order in the trash. My order was remade and when I asked for the receipt. The cashier said it was in the bag from the original order. The manager asked the cook for it and he didn’t move which I completely understood why. It was thrown in the trash and instead of them printing me a new one. Yep the manager went and pulled it from the trash. Now mind you she wasn’t aware that I had already gotten my order so when she went to give me the receipt she stuck it in a bag with somebody else’s order. I told her that’s not my food. I just asked for the receipt to have for my records. It’s always something with this Zaxbys, either they are out of traditional chicken, the system is down, they are trying to close early or the customer service isn’t the best. But if the manager handles challenges this way. The ratings and comments are a direct reflection of her. Customer’s spend good money to come out and eat only to run into this....
Read moreI went to this location 2 nights in a row and I ordered the exact same thing (grilled house chicken salad). Last night, they forgot my dressing and after settling in at home I went back and got the dressing. Tonight, they forgot the toast with the salad so again I had to go back up there. I called before I went back up there and asked to speak with the manager. I was placed on hold and then told he couldn’t come to the phone and to call him back in 10 mins. So, I explained the issue to the young lady who answered the phone and asked her to let the manager know I’d be there soon. My food was remade but the manager never came out to speak with me or apologize. The young lady sat my food on the table and said check it and make sure it’s right. She walked away before she knew whether or not my order was correct. Customer service was terrible. I will not be back to this location. If you go there, be sure to check your food and make sure your order is correct before you leave. I understand that they are busy but that’s not an excuse to provide terrible customer service and have customers leave without receiving what they paid for. But tonight I was thinking about how I wanted to get back home in time for Live P.D. that I came to this one. Big mistake. I placed an order in drive thru and I should've checked the order before pulling away but didn't. They had already taken forever to give me the food I didn't want to hold up the line further. When I did look I saw that they gave me the wrong order. I took the food inside to explain and I swear I thought I was on an episode of House. I've never seen 5 workers huddle together to try to figure out what to do. Even the manager joined in. You would've thought they were trying to come up with the best way to treat a rare disease! All I could picture was House and Foreman going at it to determine who had the best solution. But this was my fault. I know how the service sucks and still went. While I was waiting on them to decide what to do, a girl who got the wrong order as well came in. She told me what she got and I figured they must've given her my order.
