This is a review as related by my wife. I don't like boba, or tea, or beans, corn, and extra-firm jello in my drinks but she does. She went specifically for halo-halo and they didn't have it. She had tried a couple times before with the same result. This time, she got the taro ube creme brulee boba. She says it was "not bad" but too expensive for the size of the drink.
We stopped by another day and she finally got her halo-halo. I've had some that I like and some that I didn't. This falls somewhere in between. There were elements that I just don't care for but my wife enjoyed it so, it must be good. That said, it was also pretty expensive for the size of the dessert.
The staff was friendly but a little behind because they were very crowded and there appeared to be just two of them working. We got our dessert and left because that was way too many kids in way too...
Read moreI went to TJ Maxx the other day and I saw this place just in time because I was craving for boba at that time and boy… they didn’t disappoint!
I ordered the classic Milk Tea with Boba and it was delish! Boba was perfectly chewy and the tea was yummy! I also tried the Original Bubble Waffle and that too was great!
I didn’t stop there though because I ordered the Halo Halo to go and all I have to say is that it is a must have when you visit this place.
As a bonus, the owners also were truly nice and courteous!
This place rocks! I will be back soon to try other things...
