Arby's — Restaurant in South Daytona

I gave us Place one star native lucky to get that I have been wanting to get those Gyros. So I had a friend stop by the other day I wouldn't let him he brought home a couple and they tasted real good so the other day I was wanting to do it again so I went there. So I drove myself over there to get a couple of them and the drive-thru was packed must have been 10 car sitting there so I parked my car and walked in and it was like walking into an Arby's that I used to go to 25 30 years ago and it look like it it really needs a complete facelift. So I walked up to the counter and I still there I know if I'm more in 5 minutes why everybody was putting food together for the drive-thru and they were very busy doing that, so finally after about five six minutes as woman come over didn't say hi nothing personality of a dead frog so I told her what I was wanting she said and she said where you want regular or do you want Italian you want this that I said I just want a couple Italian Euro's hun and they're two for six bucks right Chris is not no more there's two of them cost you more than $8 I said well whatever I want two of them Original Italian she just walked away didn't say a word. So I was just standing there wondering what she was going to do I looked up where all the sandwiches are advertised and I saw that you Rose up there and they said chicken or beef what about that time to manager come out from the door and I told him I said look I don't want chicken and I don't want beef you roll this is what you want lamb I said yeah he said that's no problem so he got them together for me I guess he works the counter another woman walked up behind me I said you're going to have a long wait and she said really I said yeah so she got her car and got in the drive thru so the guy said will what are you what are you wanting us to gyro lamb Original Italian so he and I walked out but the place is filthy dirty the kitchen was filthy dirty the people had dirty clothes on the whole place was filthy dirty I wouldn't go there if I was you unless you know where is a newer one this one I think was on Richards Road or something like that I don't know definitely would try a different one, so if I was you I wouldn't go to that one try some try another one I don't know if you're wanting you Rose or they got a lot of fancy sandwiches there now they've completely changed their menu but that restaurant it needs to be imported and rebuilt I hope I was able to help you out have a...

Two nights ago my husband and I went to this location. We got two Italian sandwiches. The service was friendly and decent. When we got home and opened our sandwiches to eat and low and behold there was a small curly black hair in my sandwich. Just sitting on the side of my tomato. I was mad as hell. But also had worked all day and was starving. So i removed the tomato and ate the part of the sandwich. My husband started feeling poorly that night and it got worse the next day. He had fever chills body aches and ended up cur)ed up on the bathroom floor and nauseous. We had not put 2 and 2 together until later last night. When i got home from work at about 530pm i ate the rest of my sandwich. Within 2 hrs of eating the rest of it, i all of the sudden had severe chills fever and horrible body aches. My husband informed me at that point he too had ate the rest of his sandwich and within 2 hours he got sick. I do not know what bacteria we may have injested but I just want to put this out there. Absolutely LOVE the food!! Bread has a really distinctly sweet taste that I cant get enough of! I love the Ham & swiss, I could eat it all day, lol! BUT, they need to KEEP THE HOMELESS BUMS OUT OF THE DINING ROOM!! On our last trip my husband & I were so completely disgusted, we had to leave to finish our meal. We noticed 2 homeless bums, a man and a woman; the woman was sitting at a table in the dining room, and had her nasty bag on top of the table, YUCK!! Either 1 or both smelled so bad, it stunk up the dining area. But making matters even worse was when my husband went to the bathroom, the man was in there COMPLETELY naked, sitting on the toilet! My husband said that there was water all over the floor, and that it appeared he had just taken a bath in the sink, GROSS!! I'd give 5 stars if not for this issue.
