Coffee Therapy — Restaurant in South Daytona

I have wanted to LOVE Coffee Therapy. The atmosphere is incredible, attention to detail while decorating this place has been stellar! But that's about where it ends. I have managed to find a drink I do like. Their product isn't the issue. Its lack of customer service. Asking questions getting to learn some of the products they offer or learn about any of it is like pulling teeth. Each time I have gone in and have asked I have been given the BIGGEST attitudes from multiple staff. I have to ask about items anywhere I go because of allergies. So I become hesitant when trying new places. My family has tried Coffee Therapy multiple times and also have found the hours to be inconsistent. Hours are listed in multiple areas found online, social media and their store front. I understand this is the beauty of running your own small business but when asked and given yet again another attitude for this. We are learning the customer service aspect to the staff is lacking and not their top priority. Especially when hanging up on you when calling to ask. There are other coffee places around. Mary Janes and Harts sandwich this coffee shop and offer MUCH more to the friendliness and truly make you feel apart of the community and cared for. If you have questions about their products..maybe avoid this place because answers will not be given. If you know what you want without questions than...

This place has a unique selection of drinks and some different types of dessert selections along with some food options. I love the atmosphere and parking is easy to navigate. This is definitely a place where you go to hang out for a little while or meet up with friends. I got a butterscotch cake pop, the chocolate coating was nice but it’s very different from a starbucks cake pop. The italian soda is very sweet and refreshing! The Marshmallow Mocha was super strong and was like a cold brew. I definitely will try something new next time around because that’s not typically what I enjoy, but it was definitely very tasty for those who like that type of drink. The sandwich was very tasty but I felt like I could’ve made something similar at home. The appearance of the food didn’t match the vibe of the atmosphere and that threw me off a bit. Overall I would definitely come here again for the ambiance and hang out spot and will be recommending it to my friends since it’s so close to where we live! We were very excited to try out the new local coffee shop, and we were not disappointed! Since their soft opening (limited menu) we have been back four times. The coffee beans they use are delicious and unique— much better than any chain around here. We spoke with the owner one of the times we went in and he was very nice. He also told us that he picked the beans himself and that the ones he's currently using are frow Iowa (if I recall correctly).

Everything that we have tried so far has been delicious and freshly prepared, from the coffee to the bagels and pastries. Our favorite coffee flavors so far have been the aloha coffee and the cinnamon roll, you can't go wrong with either one!

The atmosphere is very clean and calm, with lighting that isn't too bright and lots of natural light from the windows. There is plenty of seating and the vibe is really inviting. It's a great spot to hang out, which is something that have been missing out on in the area.

Overall, I highly recommend checking this shop out! Personally I think it's one of the best coffee shops...
