I’ve never experienced what I’ve experienced tonight. The unprofessionalism first and foremost was very unprofessional, including the manager that was on staff the staff was very rude and disrespectful. Tell me an order was not there when the order was actually there had the dining room open after hours. The dining room closes at 10. They had the dining room open still at 11 and 12 o’clock They stated that it was OK for the dining room to be open and at the end of the day this is their store however, I was there to pick up an order. I was told that the order was not there so I started messaging the customer and letting the customer know that they stated that their order was already picked up. I didn’t told the young lady that. I believe that the order was still there or whoever took. It was not supposed to because the customer Is got the manager when the manager came forward he got immediately. And stated to me, he has no orders on his screen, and he never received that order at all. They then proceeded with another order and then noticed that the order was still sitting where the orders are usually set, but I’m not used to going in the store after hours so I thought it was something very different. I then begin to let the store know that the way that they were operating and how rude and disrespectful that they were, I didn’t stated to them that the store seemed very unprofessional and discombobulated. The staff got upset and said that we’re not discombobulated and she got very argumentative with me. The manager did not do anything about this issue and told me to get out of his store and he was very aggressively speaking to me instead of speaking to his rude staff. The manager then stated that he was going to report me to a delivery service that I do not even work for I was not working for the delivery service that night that he has stated I then proceeded to leave out of the store with the order because eventually I did get the order once I proceeded to leave out the order the staff begin to yell out the drive-through window, calling me different names and saying rude and disrespectful things to me out of the drive-through window, which was very unprofessional. I then got in my vehicle and left and I am now making this report and I will be reporting to the GM of the store and also I will be contacting corporate. This is very unprofessional. I was in a drive-through and I was told to parking and come in at 12 o’clock at night, I have never been told to come in a store after And I thought that that was something different however, I did go into the store after I was even though I noticed that that shouldn’t of been I also made it Known and asked is this new hours of operation the lady stated to me that just for tonight I then stated OK that is fine. I just needed that order back to what I was saying however, I will be reporting this to the GM in corporate. I feel like something needs to take place in everyone on this night. Crew showed a lot of attitude as if they did not want to be there at the present time. Everyone has a job to do at the end of the day and they also stated to me no one should be ordering from their store when they close at 2 AM also, they did not want to fulfill the orders and they say we should not even be out working speaking on the delivery drivers. I then let them know that we are 24 hours so whatever is open we do make sure...
Read moreAt 9:35, Tuesday, March 26th I went to my local Wendy’s after work. I thought I was going to get a normal fast food meal and continue on with my evening. As I go through the drive-thru, I order a baconator combo and instead of a regular drink I get an iced coffee, and a small chocolate frosty. I ask the lady on the intercom if she got all of that (intercoms are faulty, i wanted to make sure) and she goes over my order and I correct her that I wanted a iced coffee instead of hot. Neither time did she ask did I want a single or double (she assumed herself and charged me for a double when I was never given the choice to decide.) and sighed deeply and loudly when I asked for the choice of iced instead of hot (another assumption.) I’m rightfully thrown off and everyone else in the car heard her sigh, I’m a little pissed. I paid 16.81 for all of this. When I get home, i unraveled my burger after eating my fries and guess what i see? a nearly completely pink burger. a PINK, NEARLY RAW BURGER.
This is insane. On top of the insanely rude customer service, to not even cook my food entirely or atleast to an edible level is just ridiculous and neglectful. I work in the food service industry, I understand that you’re tired when working the night shift, or someone aggravates you. Never have I or will I ENDANGER a paying customer by NOT cooking their food?
Also, I called the store twice, the phone was never picked up. I wasn’t given a receipt, and now I honestly think that was intentional. Every step of my experience was horrible, and as someone who genuinely just wanted a quick meal after a tiring day… why?
I hope that this issue is resolved, and if not, I will never return to this Wendy’s and honestly not any other stores. This was disappointing and neglectful.
I guess making customers sick is the new way of expressing your disappointment...
Read moreI often order through the app when it's working, then pick up in the drive thru. I am a long time, nearly daily customer. My special needs son absolutely loves the burgers and it's one of the few fast food things I can get him to eat. 99% of the time my food is exactly as I ordered via the app. And if it isn't, I either don't bother complaining or I return and ask for a correction. I rarely have to do this though. The real issue is the way the staff comes across on the drive thru speaker, at the window, or sometimes in the lobby. It's clear none of them want to be there. It's clear that they deal with a LOT of B.S from customers too. However, sometimes their attitudes set the experience. When you arrive at the drive thru and the first thing you hear is, WHAT DO YOU WANT? or WAIT. No one smiles, most look downright mean or angry or annoyed. I feel like I've inconvenienced them by ordering. Like a house guest who takes a dump on the kitchen table. I try to always be polite and appreciative. I always say thank you multiple times during the transition because I truly appreciate them for making my son's food perfectly every time. What's sad is that some staff will literally make fun of my manners on the other side of that drive thru window like I can't hear them talking trash. And then toss the bag of food at me as if I was the rude one. This makes me not want to return. However, not everyone who works there is a jerk. There are a few employees who recognize me from my frequent orders and know me by name. These are the true gems I appreciate. I wish most of the staff was as kind. It's a shame that I can't give 5 stars because of these experiences. Please do better. Not all of your customers deserve to be treated...
