I frequent this establishment weekly and had a not so great start to my Tuesday here. Placed a mobile order at 4:35 since it says they are open at 4:30am aka should be ready to serve food/coffee to the public if you’re listed as open and that is what your store is for right? The app let me order, obviously, as pictured. I showed up for drive thru pick up. No one answered. Went to the front door and it was still locked. Showed them my phone that I had a mobile order and so did another lady standing outside with me. (We needed to get to work) Was sent away without my food/drink and without a refund. They told me I’d need to come back later if I wanted a resolution. Very inconvenient but luckily I work nearby. Not sure about the other lady though. Went back AFTER 5 to get my order. They said they saw the sticker printed for the order but couldn’t find it. Keep in mind I was completely polite through this entire experience. I stood there and waited for my food to be made. They gave it to me. No apologies. Not an ideal experience at 5am. Moral of the story: please fix your listed open hours and limit your ordering hours on your app so more people don’t encounter...
Read more(This review is for the location at McDonald Road /Randall road) As a lot of Starbucks fans, I have been to many different locations and this Starbucks location has to be one of the worst. Every time I've gone here, the employees are impersonal, unwelcoming, and overall not friendly - they definitely get annoyed if you're standing there waiting for mobile order. My most recent encounter was a mobile order, my coffee did not taste good so I went back and asked if they could remake-the only thing the female bleach blonde barista said was "what is it?" I tried turning the label and instead of reading it she said again "what is it?" I told her and she said "yeah, I can remake it" - I thought her response was kind of cold - there was no one else in the store, so it didn't appear that I was holding up the line or anything. Additionally and I had also ordered egg bites, in which they didn't include any utensils. Considering this location does not have any indoor seating… I feel that the basics (like utensils and friendliness) aren't too much to ask for, since everyone will be taking their orders to go and not...
Read moreI’ve gone to this particular location 4 times now. The staff is incredibly friendly, fast, respectful and responsible. The inside is clean and well maintained, and the vibe is exactly what you would expect when walking into a coffee shop.
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because my coffee order is always wrong. Even when they remake it for me, it’s still wrong. I’m still relatively new to ordering and enjoying Starbucks, so this might just be a regional order situation. I normally order in Cook county, and it’s always right, and the coffee I order is on the displayed menu. At this location, my coffee is not displayed on the menu, and there seems to be a bunch of confusion when I order it. I’m thinking my coffee order is not a normal menu item for this location. It’s an iced caramel mocha coffee, so nothing too crazy and complicated.
Even though I’ve never gotten the coffee I’ve ordered from them, every single cup I have received has been absolutely delicious, regardless of what it was. Still highly recommend, as they always get my family members...
