Starbucks — Restaurant in South Fayette Township

This is the second year in a row on Red Cup Day that this store (Bridgeville) denied my mom a Red Cup because Hot Chocolate is not a “qualifying drink”. Here is the list available on the STARBUCKS website:

She probably was one of your first customers of the day, name on order Lynn, with a hot chocolate. She was told by the drive thru worker “hot chocolate does not quality”.

I tried calling the store prior to leaving this review, but no one has answered my multiple...

I ordered with my app . Whent through drive-through service was fast. The person at the window was nice. (bad part) The drink was terrible it wasn't something I never got before. I know what it's supposed to taste like , This was bitter kind of had a whiskey taste. Very harsh, I couldn't drink it . My Daughters drink was little off to. For that kind of price, i was highly disappointed. Starting to notice Starbucks is starting to be a hit or miss place we stop at different ones every day some times twice a day . Lol what can i say I'm addicted to caffeine. I will say the one in Pittsburgh children's Hospital and belle vernon Starbucks is always on point. I love Starbucks, but if i keep having this experience, I gotta take my business elsewhere. I give them to much money just to dump it out, then drive somewhere like Dunkin donuts or another coffee shop...

The staff is friendly and professional however the products are not the same. A few months ago my coffee had a chemical/cleaner taste to it. Today I ordered a peppermint mocha on my way to an appt. When I tasted it there was not any chocolate or peppermint flavor. I thought I was given the wrong drink but the correct label was on my cup. I returned to the store after my appointment one hour later. The barista politely offered to make a new one but stated they use a different peppermint than all the other Starbuck stores. She said their peppermint barely has any flavor and offered to add more pumps. I really don’t want the extra sugar, especially if it doesn’t taste good. The peppermint mocha is a once in a while “treat” for me. I accepted the new coffee and again it does not taste like a mocha from any other Starbucks and the was zero...
