TH Teriyaki House — Restaurant in South Gate

The sushi rolls are awesome!! The appetizers are good but need some work The teriyaki chicken is delicious! The restaurant is kind of small and has limited seating Not many options to drink, no alcohol/sake/etc. The restroom is in the back and theres only 1 for both women and men, must lock it when in use and after finish using The wait times for your food are normal, not fast or slow and they let you know how long the wait will be if you order a baked dish The staff is always polite and never seem grumpy even though... They get very busy at times since the food is so good for the price

The only real cons are more about the setting and not the food. Limited Seating, Busy Parking lot (carwash on same lot) and Small restaurant with separate bathroom.

I use to go from sushi spot to sushi spot trying each out and being disappointed in the taste vs the price but here the sushi is great for the price. I now come here at least...

I ate here with my son (4 yrs old) who was craving orange chicken. We dined-in. The place is clean, fast, and friendly. The dine-in vibes are like a Tams, casual, and plain. We ordered orange chicken and chow mein, chicken Terriyaki bowl, and spicy tuna roll. The macaroni they serve is really good. Want to say it is better or about the same as Ono. The orange chicken was wet and crispy. Enjoyed the orange chicken more than the chicken terriyaki. The chicken terriyaki was too sweet for my liking, much rather prefer Pandas. I'm sorry but this is the worst Teriyaki I ever had. I'm not really that harsh with my reviews but lord omg. I couldn't finish my beef and teriyaki plate. The taste is not good and I thought they had mixed up the fresh salad with my hot meal but it was actually cabbage that was really mushy mixed into my meat and chicken. From the sushi, to the ginger it was very disappointing because this place almost had 1,000 reviews with a high rating. I don't know man, I'm not From around here and was trying to find a place to eat near my work but yea. Hard pass from now on. I hope that I don't get sick from the sushi.
