La Perla Del Mar — Restaurant in South Gate

I don't know where to start. The waitress service was rude, and we were abandoned for at leas 45 minutes, before I got up and went to inform them that we have waited for a long time to have our order taken. When I approached one of the waitresses and let her know, she sarcastically shouted to her coo workers that my mom and I were waiting for a long time! With attitude one of the waitresses took our order.. And there we go, another hour. So when I was ready to leave I saw the order was coming and served, however with a seafood soup you need, hot sauce and lime i asked the waitress at once to provide them. But NO, she just ignores and start helping other clients, I was waving and waving, but they do not care. When i got up again went near the kitchen and ask for my lime and hot sauce. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME, and the only one. Our time of arrival was 6:10 PM, and we left the restaurant close to 9 pm. I am sorry for my mom, who was hungry and worried about how poorly we were treated. I don't have to let them know how disappointed...

Food is terrible! Salsa was many days old and smelly didnt complain about in because my party already had to many other complaints about our food. The posole is not traditional Mexican posole it has a very sweet taste to it and the soup tasted like toilet water! Thank God they let us exchange it for a chicken quesadilla which was not as bad but still awful, they put shredded chicken quisado in it, so it was gross soggy and messy with to many different flavors in it! Their asada is not real asada it has a sauce on it that I've never had in my entire Mexican life!! Not a very appealing taste either. We already had complained about the posole and chicken quesadilla so my friend didnt even want to bother complaining about the sour asada taste so he just threw it out! I am from out of town..and I have never experienced such bad service. We ordered a parrillada $85 and it was cold. I have never seen a waitress (Nadia) so unenthusiastic to work. The girl seemed annoyed when I would ask for the basics salt (because the food was bland) not once came back to the table to ask if we needed or wanted anything. The beans tasted like they’re canned beans. They put these candles under the parrillada to keep it “warm” but the heat was only concentrated in two spots.
