Appalling Experience at Winchell's South Gate

I stopped by the Winchell's in South Gate recently to pick up some donuts, and I was absolutely astounded by the behavior I witnessed. A bunch of leery old men were loitering in the store, singing loudly and obnoxiously. This is supposed to be a place where families can come to enjoy a treat, not a hangout for disruptive individuals.

Additionally, these old men kept staring at me inappropriately, which was extremely uncomfortable and disturbing. Their behavior was not only a nuisance but completely inappropriate for a public space. It's baffling that the staff did nothing to address this issue. The entire experience was incredibly off-putting, and I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Winchell's management needs to step up and ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all customers. Until then, I won't be returning, and I advise others to avoid this location if you want to enjoy your...

5 🌟 mostly for being impressed how long this establishment been running in South Gate. Growing up in the 80's and 90's I remember going there from time to time. Even Today I even go there from time to time.

As for service and quality. Service, for those that follow my other fast-food reviews. I say the same for here a quick service donut place. Given the short amount of time per customer the employees do what they can to provide the best basics in customer service as possible. The lady tonight is a good example I requested their promoted "fruit burrito" (delicious), however, had only $5 and she was willing to do some pricing twice to help me stay within what I had. This place customer service is horrible . Starting off with older lady her name is Lucy she is really rude she asked me what was I going to order I told her then she started yelling out what kind of bagel she was like you gotta tell me what kind of bagel first before ordering I was so confused because she clearly asked what was I going to order before even asking which bagel made no sense .
