Dude, Daiso is the BEST. If you're looking for a small store that sells stuff under $10 and this is it. It's the equivalent of like a- Japanese version of the American Dollar Tree and I'm here for it. Anything that isn't priced outright, is like a base price of somewhere around a $1.25 to a $1.75 if I'm correctly. And the staff are usually so kind and quiet that I rarely feel like I'm being hassled at all. I don't know what the employee training is for this store, but every daiso that I've ever been in has been a relatively peaceful experience and a great shopping experience and it always has me coming back. They have a great amount of different odds and ends that doesn't cost like $30 or anything like that for things that would elsewhere, and I appreciate it because even though it might not be the top tier top of the line quality for some of the stuff, it gets the job done and that just is what I need. Sometimes I just need a quick charger that just gets me in and out the door without having to go into a Walmart. Another nice thing about daiso is that they have these cute little snacks up near the front and they're like a sugar-coated dehydrated fruit or flour of some sort and I- These are to die for. My favorite is the hibiscus flower but there wasn't any this time, but I scored some little tangerine ones and they were perfect. Chef's kiss The strawberry ones hit a little too strong on the sugary bit, but everything else was great and I even got some miso packets to make myself tiny little bowls of miso soup which hits the spot for a little snack. I like that the ramen bowls that they sell are not spicy and you have some non-spicy variants which is a stark contrast to the grocery store selection. I like this a lot because I don't always have the opportunity to go out to H Mart and this is the great stop in between Buckley/Enumclaw and Tacoma/Lakewood. I think the only thing I can confidently say is that I just wish that the stock was a little bit easier to sort through, as it feels a little bit cluttered in the shelves, but the store and aisles are kept...
Read moreMy young daughter told me about this store and we finally got to go. We were blown away how cool it is. The layout is nice, it's organized, and selection is HUGE. If there is anything you need, it's here. We make it a weekly stop now. One day I was looking for garden sticks, sure enough they had them and for a great price.
Just a suggestion, the first time visiting, look at the pricing charts so you understand them before shopping, mostly everything is $1.75 and if it isn't they also tell you when checking out if something isn't $1.75.
Highly recommend to visit! They seriously have everything, it's clean and...
Read moreI am truly happy that there is a location in my hometown. I stopped by the Federal Way location at the Commons mall and discovered that it was closed with no signs posted if they were closed permanently or if they relocated I was definitely sad and mad at the same time.
I enjoy shopping here with all the little trinkets and some Japanese snacks and drinks that I am familiar with, they don’t carry everything that I grew up with but it’ll suffice.
This location is located at Sunrise Village in the same plaza...
