So so disappointed. First we loved ordering from here. We have been coming up here past 10y and always were happy with the food and service. We ordered this summer and just finished our food. Let me tell you how disappointed we are. We got $100 worth of food and boy did the bar get lowered. First my wife ordered and the gentleman didn't understand so besides putting a order in , he told my wife he didn't understand acouple things she was saying so he kept saying "noooo...you just come in and order. Ohh nooo I don't understand " so after waiting for 30 min for order. The other 25% of our order we had to walk in there order it, and wait a additional 20min just because he didn't understand what we were saying. (Mind you it wasn't complicated, he wanted to sub one thing and add something) so already were upset with the length of wait. Then the food was way below par from what we are used too. My sons $20 burrito was about 30% smaller than we usually are used too. The tortillas they give you in the bag, we ordered $110 worth of food and got 2 small brown bags with about 20% of bag full of chips. Very underwhelming. And to top it off no salsa for chips. I wanted double rice with my tacos instead of rice and beans. And my son added a side of rice to his. Let's just say my sons rice which was a extra charge was smaller amount then my double rice. Ok that isn't a big deal. My mother in law just wanted the basic tacobowl with No peppers. They loaded the thing with peppers. Ok again not end of world. And last but not least my daughters shrimp tacos had literally 2 baby shrimp in the taco. Yes two. Lol. Listen I don't complain and I didn't even call establishment to complain because every restaurant has bad nights sometimes. My husband, daughter and I dined here Friday night around 7:30 ish. The restaurant was full of people but we were seated immediately. We had been hearing many mixed reviews about this place so we had to check it out and make our own opinion. We ordered an appetizer -pollo rollo- so good! For the main course I ordered the chile colorado which was pieces of steak in this red sauce that has a mild kick to it and also came with refried beans, a little salad with pico de gillo and rice. My husband ordered the Cochinita pibill which was pork so tender it melts in your mouth and also came with sweet plantains,pickled onions, refried beans, rice. Trust me the portions are generous you will not leave hungry. My daughter had a cheese quesadilla & rice. The rice is very reminiscent of the rice my husbands grandmother makes so it was a pleasant experience. The only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 is we noticed every person being seated was receiving a basket of chips so we were kind of wondering how come everyone else got chips right when they sat down and we didn't get any. Also my husbands pork was such a small portion it was like 3 little chunks so that was kind of stingy for the main meal. The manager just told me he refuses service to me because they can’t cook the food the way I want it. I never heard a restaurant tell a customer that they cannot cook the food the way that we want it so it’s best that we go somewhere else and the reason why he said this is because me and my son both ordered sizzling fajita steak and shrimp they bring out my son but only bring out the rice and the beans for me and 30 minutes later bring out the shrimp and the steak which is not all the way cooked well done the way I asked the vegetables I asked to be caramelized they came out wrong so I told him can you please take it back to cook the shrimp and cook the steak well done and the vegetables by time he came back my son was done with his food I didn’t even want to eat the food I was so upset it took almost an hour for me to get my food then all of a sudden I just stop by there today to go have lunch with my son again and the manager refuses service because he says that they cannot cook the food the way I want it to make me happy all I wanted is my stuff to be cooked well done and not raw and brought out at the same time that my son‘s food was brought out but because I wasn’t happy with their service now they refuse my service be careful when you go here I definitely...
