It pains me to do this but I feel I have to so here goes. My wife ordered 15 gallons of lemonade for an outdoor wedding reception for my daughter. In fairness to the owner she did explain to my wife the pricing policy of the store which is as follows. You can purchase up to 3, one gallon non returnable plastic containers for $29 per gallon. When you buy in bulk, over 3 gallons you get charged by the cup rate which is $4 per cup, Which comes out to $53.33 per gallon! The price for 15 gallons came to $800! Again, she did explain their policy. The product came in 2 coolers which are returned (no packaging costs) So my question is this. How many businesses charge extra for buying in bulk? Trust me, I enjoy Dels as much as anyone but $800!
