Horrible experience. Went to take my father to the bathroom before we were about to leave and a bartender or whatever started telling us to get out, that we weren’t allowed back in and all I said was to let me take my father to the bathroom and that’s it. To not make a big drama about it. Then he got in my fathers face like taunting him, and I got in the middle of them trying to tell the person to stop acting disrespectful. Then he pushed me and Im just a teenager and so this started a big drama which I didn't want to happen and I guess some people moved the person from where we were and we were escorted to the bathroom by a person. After that, we left the bathroom peacefully, and I thought that was the end of it. But then a lady came outside I’m guessing a person who makes the food came outside to tell us that they have cameras inside and can see who started the altercation and then started implying that i was drinking too, even though i had just arrived like 15 minutes before all that happened just to pick up my father and Im only a teenager and I wasn’t allowed to be given the name of who started the altercation with us. Bad experience and will most definitely think about filing a complaint towards the management because it smelled like marijuana near the bathrooms and they were more people in the bar who looked clearly drunk but no one who worked there said anything to them because they were still drinking and my father was prohibited from drinking so that didn’t make sense to me. I don’t want to say we were racially profiled, but by the way they were treating us specifically in those 15 minutes I was there, there was no doubt that our presence wasn’t wanted anymore. I hope that management sees this review and think about their decisions before they try to insult someone. Also, no tip was given for those reason so sorry but not sorry for the waiter who was taking the orders. Also, if there was an option for 0 stars I would have chosen it but I’m only allowed from one...

If you are under the age of 25, dont expect to be treated well at Bunny's Sports Bar. Bunny's is located in South Orange, with Seton Hall University being probably less than a mile away. Rather than embrace the environment and become a college student friendly bar Bunny's seems happy to turn away that business. The worst part about all of this, is the food and drinks at Bunny's are great. No complaints there at all. But for whatever reason or another the service is piss poor if you are not an older patron or a local.

Out of state patrons are subject to a second form of Identification which I find to be ridiculous as bartenders should be trained how to read IDs from every state and if not they should have some sort of print that should cover out of state ID requirements. Not to mention the staff is beyond rude.

I get it, college kids might not be the ideal patron you want for your bar but that doesnt mean you have to take it out on every younger patron in there. I am no longer in college, I maintain a decent job and I enjoy to go out and spend my hard earned money. But in return for that hard earned money I expect better service than menus being thrown at my friends, being told the kitchen is closed while other patrons get food, and not being able to split a bill for a table. Not too mention one time I went with a girl for a date, and they were not too busy, rather than say they were closing they proceeded to turn off all of the lights in the bar til we got the hint.

No one deserves to be treated this way in the service industry. Just my opinion but Bunny's would be a great time if the staff...

Don’t like talking bad about a place… but I usually go to a bar to watch Sunday NFL football. The first waitress was nice and put me at a table to watch my game. The 1st bartender changed the tv screen that I was watching. This 1st bartender was super loud about not changing the game for me, so I moved my seat to the bar so I could watch my game on another screen. So embarrassing how loud he was… So I watched the game from the bar on a different screen… that’s fine. I was clearly watching that 2nd screen when the 2nd bartender so rudely changed the game again that I was watching. I said, “I was watching that.” So he changed it back for me, but still inconsiderate to not even ask me.

I also came here just to eat some hot foods and hot drinks since I’m a tad cold. I got chicken noodle soup, hot chili soup and a hot apple pie. I also ordered tea and asked for hot water. He barely attended to me. He never checked to see if I needed anything. And when I did ask him, he seemed like he didn’t want to serve me. I asked for an apple pie and hot water. He never brought me the hot water.

Also the food took forever to come out and it was just soup!! Usually that’s already pre-made. Really bad service from the two male bartenders on Sunday, 10/15/23. Made me afraid to ask again for the hot water. Made me feel like I was bothering him, even though I’m a paying customer. Really RUDE male bartenders and bad customer service. Never...

When my parents were sick with COVID, Ryan Pogany offered to bring them food. 40 mins away.... Place has been close to my heart for over 30 years. I happened to go to elementary middle and high school with the owners son. Known that family literally my entire life. Crazy seeing a family business, town staple thrive after all these years. How do they do it? Consistent family friendly vibes. Living in Seattle, when I visit south orange...I’m not “home” till I go to bunny’s. One of my fondest memories as a kid, is half days at bunny’s. This place “is” south orange. I promise you, the people who are posting one line venomous reviews, haven’t stepped a foot through those portals. Probably don’t even live in south orange. This place, is home. For people of all colors and backgrounds.

Very casual sports bar with excellent thin crust pizza. I've been hitting this spot for over 15 years and their pizza remains consistently great including the crust, which is actually soft like a nice bread stick. I don't usually go for buffalo chicken pizza, but here, it's awesome! Even their plain pizza's good. While Bunny's offers burgers and other stuff on their menu, their pizza makes me so very hoppy (happy)! (Pizza pix coming soon.) NOTES/TIPS: **400 feet from South Orange Train Station. **Pay station parking in a shared lot in the next block on Sloane St. and 1st St. (Free all day near holidays.) **$8 pitchers and free pizza 4-5pm, Mon.-Fri. **Wheelchair-accessible including the restrooms.
