Ciccio's Pizza — Restaurant in South Plainfield

Food was of equal quality as my son's middle school cafeteria. I ordered a stuffed eggplant parmigiano with a ceaser salad and an order of calamari. The salad came out and it was pre-made on the plate and refrigerated with a packet of Ken's ceaser dressing... horrendous. Then the calamari, it was oily and soggy after 2 minutes. Then the stuffed eggplant parm, came out with half melted mozzarella on it and when it was served to me the sauce on the plate was hot but the inside was room temp which told me it was microwaved... gross!! The inside was stuffed with cold cut deli ham = cheap and poor quality and not stuffed with prosciutto like it...

Nothing against the restaurant itself or the people who work there, but the Pizza quality is really bad. Ordered a pie of peppers and onion and was really disappointed. I realize it's hard to judge after only one visit, but I don't think I can get myself to try this place again. The cheese either undercooked or expired, as it tasted bad and hard. The onions seemed like they were sprinkled on after the oven.

Employees always greet me with a smile. My food is fresh and delicious. Most importantly my food is always HOT. They have an extensive menu from all kinds of pizza to delicious entrees.They do not deliver but I don't mind picking my order up because they have plenty of help and are quick to help you when your at the counter.
